  I liked the 3 restaurant options (bar in the lobby, the grille, and the steak house). I'm always in a rush in the morning when I travel for business so I really appreciated the quick continental style breakfast available at the lobby bar. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. I loved the access to the metro I loved the workout room The p... wat mensen zeggen » opcorn and lemon water in the lobby in the afternoons was great and perfect after a long day I loved the convenience of the taxis in front of the hote - The hotel is centrally located, with the metro stop there and very only a couple of blocks to a lot of restaurants of every type. The hotel is a little dated, especially in the bathrooms, but is very clean, and very well taken care of. The room rates are very reasonable.

  I was just blown away! This is a very nice facility. I was truly surprised. I have visited this area several times and was never as impressed with my stay as I was this past weekend. This will be my choice of stay from now on when I visit this area. Colony South was centrally located to everything.   I had read many reviews that had me quite nervous about what condition I would find the hotel in. We had stayed there years ago when it was new and loved it. We found our room to be clean and nice with a kitchen area and a flat screen tv. We were very pleased with the cleanliness and the amenities. Everything we needed was there. With one telephone call downst - Had supurb weather for late October and walked the beach/boardwalk for miles every day. We LOVED being RIGHT on the boardwalk but far enough away from the 'kid stuff' so it was more peaceful. The balcony was large and comfortable and the room was HUGE. Bath was your average hotel variety but the towels were plush and soft. The kitchenette was an added bonus to be sure but bring paper towels and plates

  From the time we checked in, until we checked out, we could not have asked for a nicer group of people to deal with....they were all super nice.   Awesome location, easy access to beach and facilities, took a while to find easy way to room and back but design is cool like a cruise ship. Nice hot tub and indoor pool is nice and warm, outdoor pool cool but great on 90 degree days, convenient pool bar, bike rental right next door, loved the hot chocolate and all day fruit bananas, peaches and ... wat mensen zeggen » apples anytime of the day, great for on the beach snack between meals, would book again, although would upgrade to room w modern tv and upgraded to up - The staff was so friendly and helpful to start our stay. The room was perfect for us as a young couple. There's are stoves/ ovens in all rooms (which wasn't stated in our room description) so it saves money to stay in. Hotel is more family oriented, which was so nice to have cool neighbors. Would definitely recommend, and very likely to return.
