Excellent location, excellent rooms, excellent lounge, excellent staff. Outstanding hotel in the midtown of Manhattan.

1. Breakfast - not buffet and really expensive. 2. Price - You always pay big cash for staying in primary location in Manhattan. I paid 700 dollars not in primary season without taxes. 3. Rooms - be very careful in room selection. My room was with the inside look without possibility to open the windows as You get the smell of the kitchen.

Everything, we were even given a free upgrade to an absolutely beautiful room, These rooms are designed and done out to the highest standard. There bar is fun and buzzy. Beautiful bathrooms lovely spa, be prepared to pay $50 each for the use of this but well worth it.

Their continental breakfast was not great, we ended up eating out for this.

Langham Place is a fantastic hotel where staff are attentive and service is the watchword I would recommend this place to anybody

The staff was very attentive to all the needs. Bathrooms were fantastic. The noise level was very low. In general a great place to stay in NY

Elevators were slow to come.

The king room,in which we stayed was very spacious,the bed was very comfortable,and the walk-in wardrobe- just great!

My wide said the Spa facilities were outstanding. Rooms were huge for NYC! Staff was very accommodating Best hotel to celebrate my wife's 50th. We will be back!

Breakfast is real continental and expensive at that. After three weeks still have some issues with pre-authorization funds blocked on my credit card. The staff is doing all they can to release the funds, but I guess there is some problem with the comp.system which sometimews can not charge for the stay "inside" of the pre-authorized amounts...

The staff is very courteous, friendly, helpful. The concierge is very well informed, and knowledgeable with all kinds of restaurants; from raw vegan to the top steakhouses in the city. The house car is a plus. The location is perfect; a walking distance to anything you could think of!

I thought the breakfast buffet could be improved. There isn't much variety.

The hotel was ideally situated for walking rather than catching a cab everywhere & the staff were very nice & polite, in addition you got a free mini bar & personal concierge on call to help all your needs, we had a very nice lady called Sohee.

Location was great. The Measure bar downstairs was a great place to unwind, have a drink or snack.

No pool.....whether indoor or outdoor this would be a great advantage. Restaurant/ breakfast too expensive.

I thought the hotel was excellent. I have visited New York many times on business but this time I was travelling with my wife and teenage children who had not visited New York before. The hotel rooms were excellent and were clean, comfortable and looked just like the hotel photos. We were upgraded from a family room to a suite and it was excellent. It was by far the best hotel I have stayed at in New York and would be happy to recommend. It is also conveniently located.

Love my room and staff

I am a regular there when I arrived at 2.30 I was told my room would be ready in a hour !! I waited 4 hours till 630 pm. Was not very happy , I was racing some of my horses the next day at meadowlands and visit gal pal for shows and dinners. My first day was ruined ! Had to cancel all afternoon plans, as I was exhausted by time I got in showered it wAs 8 pm. Also had car ordered for departure. It never was although they got one for me fast.

when I was there , the hotel is in a change of hand situation from Sltai to Langham hotel . staff were trying to give personalised service but not quiet to the point , it is a bit disappointing ! Actually this is what I didnt like , bad timing !!

The room was great and made great use of the Laundry facilities in the room. This was a great help with children. The reception, conciege and Door staff where very helpfull and friendly to the whole famliy.

The cost of breakfast was very very expensive especialy for a family. It was also a bit too formal in the resturant at breakfast. The main Bar in the Loby had terrible service on the Sunday 31st March. There was not enough staff working. Plus I do not think the bar is stylish enough compaired to the rest of the hotel.

we have stayed at the Setai in both Miami and NYC. Great staff, accomodating, lovely rooms, great restaurants on site. Loved eating in the bar area listening to live jazz ensemble. Gourmet restaurant is superb!

We were upgraded and had a very nice suite with view on the Empire State. Very friendly personal assistance. Excellent cuisine and high quality cooked breakfast.

I would have preferred the choice between 'à la carte' and a breakfast buffet. The latter is not available.

I booked 3 rooms, 2 of these were for father and son. The father's room was of a higher category, with additional requests and it has been assigned to the son (who hadn't particular requests) only because they had the same family name. These things in a 5 star hotel should never happen.

Horrible views to waterpipes and staircases, the spa facilities were ridiculously mediocre for such an expensive hotel (plus you have to pay to use a jacuzzi)
