  hi all my partiner and i stayed there for 2 nights last week carol greeted us with the biggest southern smile around she and the rest of the staff were most helpful getting us settled in after a 16 day trans alantic cruise we had 2 friends traveling with us they had a mixup with there booking dates BUT carol sorted it out and found the acco... wat mensen zeggen » m at one of there other accom hotel no trouble at all we loved the area sooo close to everything and would stay again and reconmend to anybody to sta - A nice old building with typical for nola iron balcony (there are tables and chairs there, so you can sit, have a cup of coffee and admire the view of the old French Quarters). The rooms are renovated with clean and modern bathrooms and a very comfortable bed. The people in hotel very friendly and helpful. The was no safe in the room but there is a safety deposit box at the front desk and its free! Location is great - just two blocks from Bourbon Street. - Located in the heart of French Quarter, 5 minutes walk from Bourbon Street, 10 minutes Jackson Square or Canal Street. Room where i stayed was small, just big enough for a queen bed, bathroom was actually bigger - but very comfortable and perfectly adequate for solo traveller. I was a little concerned about walking back late at night after reading several reviews - but really nothing to worry about. Would definitely recommend - excellent value for money.

  Oozing with character and a perfect mixture of the old and the new. This is a perfect spot for easy access into the French Quarter and Frenchman street, but far enough away to enjoy peace, quiet and this beautiful old building. Couldn't recommend this place highly enough. - Room was good, natural light ,view of the street. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom was nice in marble. Staff were very friendly and efficient and helpful with advice on best places to go.We swam in the pool a few timesw and this was a great way to relax tired muscles after a long day of walking around N.O.Pool was very well maintained and nice garden setting.Location was very convenient but quiet street.

  I truly enjoy my stay at the Roosevelt. I loved the turn down service. Everything about our stay was fantastic. I would stay at the Roosevelt again in a heart beat.   I loved the vibe of the hotel and the fact that it is a boutique hotel. The check in staff were very accommodating and I love the green apple touch. I helped myself to one every day. The best concierge ever would have to be king. He was superb! Not only did he recommend excellent restaurants but he was a wealth of information on the "real New Orle... wat mensen zeggen » ans". We were fascinated to hear his account of hurricane Katrina, the education system and overall economy in New Orleans. In addition he supplied us - I loved this hotel! My husband and I stayed at this hotel for my birthday weekend. I use to live in New Orleans, but this was my husband's first visit and we had a blast. The staff is very attentive and they even left a special gift in our room once they found out it was my birthday! Great location & Great modern hotel!

  At arrival the door man and bell staff were very friendly. The rooms are large and beds very comfortable with soft linens. Bathroom has a GREAT separate shower with large tub very nice.   First of all, the location is perfect! We were able to park at the French Market a block away for $20/day. The owner was super friendly and helpful, and you could really tell he wanted us to enjoy our stay. Our room was just right, we had everything we needed including lots of clean towels and coffee service. We also really loved relaxing in the c... wat mensen zeggen » ourtyard area- it's lovely! We will definitely try to stay here when we return! - The property is an eclectic mix of old and new but with modern kitchens & comfortable furnishings. The staff were wonderful & gave great suggestions for dinner. The location is fantastic (in the "no bus zone" of the Quarter, so it's much less noisy than the other end). Also just steps from all types of shopping and dining. I will definitely stay here again!
