One of the windows did not have curtains , so the sunlite was so bright that we couldn't sleep late. O and at nite the street lite came in also.
I enjoyed the location hospitality.
My room was wrong had a queen not a king.
I liked practically everything-it's a vintage restored hotel that's clean, in good repair, and in an excellent location close to the beach, shopping, and dinning; the rooms are big and amply furnished with comfy big beds, a side chair, and a desk. The bathroom is small with no tub, but sufficient with nice showers. The hotel's general vibe is quite and low-key around. It has a nice lobby and patios that present a very good first impression. Didn't eat there but I suppose the food is as good as any other stuff I've eaten in SoBe. If I could change anything, it would be the milk chocolate-colored carpet to navy or wine. The brown, though it may be historic, appears as worn and dirty appearance though it's clean, however. Stay here, you'll be happy, and I'll stay there again with no hesitation.
The carpet color. Though clean, the medium brown color makes it appear worn and dirty. A rich navy or wine would really set this hotel off quite nicely. Think about it.

Collins ave is under new sewer construction, valet parking accross the street on the corner. Air conditioning unit, high on the wall blows directly and forcefully and often onto the bed, should have a deflector. Small but well appointed rooms
Shopping, restaurants and beach are in walking distance, friendly-staff and service, very clean, patio on Collins Ave., the lobby was comfortable, complimentary wi-fi access w/ computer in lobby, excellent patio and pool area.
No continental breakfast included only coffee/water but when you are in So. Beach, who really gets up for breakfast?
Service upon arrival was excellent They provided complementary beach towels for guests There was always cold water at the entrance for guests as well
The rooms were very small The guest agents sometimes would not acknowledge us They seemed to be understaffed since the hotel was so small There was no fridge in the room, and there was no ice machines either There were some loud guests during our travels The front desk agent/concierge did not seem to helpful when we asked for restaurant recommendations. She only gave us 1 restaurant choice, and it turned out to be a tourist trap.
We had an amazing time at the hotel,close to beach,quiet,clean. The staff was very accommodating and always smiling. I would recommend to anyone .
