The lighted walking path through the park then went into to town. We walked to and from restaurants and explored the town nightly. Plus the hotel was pet friendly and had a convenient dog walk for the pets to do their business. -

The personal touches from the genuinely welcoming owners was in pleasant contrast to the somewhat impersonal treatment of hotels. The room was well appointed and comfortable. -
Location was further out of town than listing suggested but it did allow us to see the wildlife.
Breakfasts were great.

The staff was really friendly, and even let me use one of the rooms after we had checked out to preform prayer. Very accommodating. Lovely town, with a surprising amount of things to see and do. Free and easy to access Wifi, along with a decent TV, although I could not get BBC on the TV set. Great spot to stop off for Yosemite. -

nice hosts, very friendly and helpful. rich and tasty breakfast. nice and spacy room. the general information should contain the information, that guest-rooms have access only through the hosts living room, this could be important for someones choice. however, hosts welcomed us warmly, even after late arrival! many thanks for those 3 wonderful day

breakfasts were absolutely wonderful! We really enjoyed the
conversations at the breakfast table with other guests--and the hosts.
We enjoyed the family atmosphere, and we fell in love with the 2

Rooms are spacious and clean. Everything you would expect from a motel on the way. We stayed at a back room, so was quite although conveniently on the road. Location within Mariposa is very convenient. Once arriving, you don't need your car to get to any of the few restaurants near by.

If you are going to the yosemite park, unless planning to stay within the park overnight (there are a few hotels, yet pretty expensive), Yosemite Inn is IMO the best option. Rooms are decently clean,price is reasonable and the staff is very nice. Don't miss the breakfast with freshly made waffles! 1h driving to the park from there. -

Yosemity is approx 1 hour drive on road with good views.
Mariposa was a nice town withgood restarant across the street form the lodge.
