The rooms and facilities were clean and tidy. The hotel is located in an awesome position. Walking distance to everything that Union Square and the shopping precinct has to offer. We didn't like that the mini bar fridge has an automatic charger if you remove any items. Found out the hard way after we removed several items to fit in some milk we purchased. Other tha - There was nothing that I did not like. The two-story Plinko board with soccer balls, the leisure room in the loft, the design - from the metal dog to the wall of convicts - all perfect. The staff was friendly, knowledgable, and enthusiastic about their hotel. Their location is perfect - close enough to Union Square to enjoy the nightlife, but far enough away to avoid the noise; the bart is half a block away and provides access to the entire city. I highly recommend this hotel.

  Hotel had a more personable feeling about it - some of the larger hotels are so impersonal. Staff were extremely friendly and greeted you upon arrival and departure. Staff were very responsive. The location is extremely good - quiet and within walking distance to many of the tourist sites. The service is superb and the staff courteous and polite. The dining experience is fabulous, and the chicken curry (ask for the white meat to be changed for dark meat) is divine. Room service is rapid, with the slowest delivery being 32 minutes - that would be extremely fast for most 5 star hotels that I have stayed in.

  This was THE most amazing customer service we have ever experienced . The staff can not do enough to help . Ken , Ann & Omar were amazing . We got upgraded to a suite on arrival and they really have thought of everything. The rooms were lovley , very clean and comfortable with bottled water and luxury bath robes . we received fresh cookies a... wat mensen zeggen » t bedtime and the wine tasting & nibbles each evening were fantastic . The one night we couldn't make the get together we were offered a bottle in - What a wonderful welcome we received here - a breath of fresh air after the feeling of being on a cash conveyor belt in Las Vegas. I cannot say enough nice things about this place. So friendly and Wayne is incredibly knowledgable about where to go etc in and around the city. Wine & cheese each evening was a delightful social event which gave us the chance to chat with fellow guests. The location was brilliant too.

I also really liked the many tributes in the hallways to US servicemen. - The hotel has a lovely feel to it - pleasant staff on arrival; comfortable rooms; well positioned for an easy stroll into town and access to all amenities. As the name of the hotel might suggest there are strong links to the military and as a visitor from the UK it was pleasing to see the level of respect that is shown.
