  I left an expensive purse in the closet at checkout. I had taken the wallet out to use another purse, but my employment ID badge and a few other valuables were still in the purse. The purse itself was a gift from my husband only this past Christmas so it had value to me beyond its price. I called back to the manager on duty and had to leave a message on the phone for him to find my purse and have it ready for me to pick up by - Given its splendid location we feared Tenaya Lodge would be self-important but it turned out very well with helpful, cheerful staff and good facilities. We intended to visit Yosemite National Park but the Federal closure meant that we had to find other attractions, which were many in "South Sierra". Tenaya Lodge is a location far less dependent upon Yosemite than might be thought. Nice touches like the fire pits.

  We loved the charm and unique setting and accommodations. It is quiet and peaceful, a place of real character as opposed to the average, run-of-the- mill chain. Yet, the price was comparable. We stayed here last June, when the lovely gardens were in bloom. It is so pleasant to walk along the little stream and enjoy the handiwork of a master garde... wat mensen zeggen » ner. Someday, we'd like to stay for a week, just relaxing and breathing in the simplicity and loveliness. The basket of breakfast goodies was a nice s - It is around by such nice environment, the hotel is at a very near location which to the national park. The facility is almost perfect, especially comfort bed and the restaurant provided such good food in such beautiful place. We unfortunately met the closure of the national park due to the US Federal Government's announcement. While the staff of the hotel were so helpful that we were still able to see the beautify of Yosemiti even though a small part of it. Both my husband and I enjoyed so m

  We stayed 2 nights at the hotel and we enjoyed very much the cottages that are a 5 min walk from the main hotel. It is good for the privacy. Our room was very well cleaned, warm and spacious. - Great location (if you cant get into the Valley). Very nice units and grounds. Good restaurant selection on-site.
