I found the staff very helpful. Case in point, I needed it help to get on a online tutorial and the it person set me up. The reception staff were professional but not too formal. They made every effort to attend to any of my requests or answer any of my queries. Quite a relaxed atmosphere and a very good breakfast in a bright and cheerful eating area. Bed room very large and well appointed.
I stayed 2 nights. In very late on the first (11pm) and out very early on the 2nd day (5am) so it was on the high side for at 200 euro for 2 nights. Despite this I would still stay again as it is a high standard hotel.

Fairly close quarter mile(walking distance) to the Metro station. was upgraded to deluxe room. The first room I was assigned to someone had been smoking in it. The concierge who came with me to the room immediately called the desk clerk and requested another room for me, which was awesome.
The location was v good , the staff were helpful and the Internet service was v good , , ,breakfast was fair , the room was cleaned anytime I requested
I book a non smoking room which took me to the 7th floor as this is the only non smoking floor , that was fine until I discovered the the water in the tub and shower is very week and could not get a shower after a v long day of travel !!! The reason was even more ridiculous that the 7th floor is high and the water cannot reach it properly !!! (In Dubai ???) so I had to re-pack next day and move into a SMOKING ROOM just to be able to have a decent shower !!!!!!!

This time there were no bath towels and the bathroom floor needed attention as far as cleanliness. The shower curtain had a order it. However this is only one instance. Previous stays were just fine
It was great clean comfort near metro coldstore coffeshops whatever u want ull find the staff was great gave me what ever I asked for I recommend it to all sure I'll be there when ever I'm in Dubai
The location is great from the airport. Staff are friendly and efficient and easy access to the subway system.
Almost the perfect Hotel. Clean & Comfortable with big rooms. Rooftop Pool offers panoramic views of the area. Nice neighbourhood with some interesting Restaurants,especially an Iraqi one, where you can watch the national fish dish ( Masgouf ), slowly roasting on wood embers ! . They also cook chicken & lamb on a Chargoal Grill. Highly recommend.
The 2 floors underneath mine ( 5 & 6 ) were Smoking floors, and Everytime i walked into my room i could swear i smelt smoke, but the feeling went away after a few minutes ???!!!
I enjoy staying at the Avenue. It is the only hotel in Dubai that I stayed more than once.

The staff was great! Ate a steak dinner in their restaurant that was good and the atmosphere was nice. Even though I was right above the restaurant and bar, I did not hear the music.

We checked in at 17.00 hrs , Reception staff very bad and taken too much time and return ID after 3 hrs when we forced him. Again night at 3.00am one person asked for ID due to lack of communication from there.
Very nice staff, the place is very accommodating for westerners, good food, nice suite, and allowed visitors. Really, if you are a westerner, it is nice to stay at a "normal" hotel.
The bed was way too hard, and the bar was overpriced.
