Whitby 3* sterren hotels

This was our first stay at this hotel - actually our first stay in Whitby. The service in reception upon arrival was exceptional, and in the restaurant, morning and evening, was speedy, yet with good humour. The menus were interesting and varied and we would recommend a stay at the Saxonville to anyone who values a well-run establishment with the service of a standard which is quite rare nowadays. My wife and I had not a single criticism to make. - Stephen

I have just stayed here for the second consecutive weekend. I am a well experienced global traveller so more than a good judge of hotel standards. The hotel setting is fantastic, quiet and peaceful but very convenient for visiting Whitby and the North Yorkshire moors. The ambience, created by attention to detail, meticulous cleanliness and committed management, is perfect. We stayed here for one night and found the stay very good, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the Hall a wonderful building. It just looks that little bit special when you turn into the courtyard. We had room 5 which is at the rear of the building looking out over the Esk valley, it has a wonderful mullion window and is just made for sitting there with a cuppa taking in the view. Our son had room 1 which was a little larger and at the front of the property, he said the room was good and n - Ann
