  Food was hearty and really tasty. The breakfast was cooked fresh and was piping hot and the staff were relaxed and not clock watching which made a nice change! The evening meal menu was a mix of traditional pub favourites and additional quirky dishes all very tasty and well presented. We were arrived late in the evening, due to the distance of o... wat mensen zeggen » ur journey, but the staff were very welcoming and attentive. We found the pub atmosphere very friendly aswell as being popular with the locals. Good p - I liked the very thoughtful touches - the good supply of decent coffee, the supply of toiletries, the dressing gowns and slippers. I like the fact the hotel was very quiet and I liked the garden. I liked the tasteful decor. There is a good ambience. I felt as if I'd had a restful stay somewhere lovely. The breakfast was good too. I liked the fact that there was no problem with parking. I was visiting Bath and parking is a nightmare so I decided to stay at the Northey and have no hassle.

  The reception staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Service in Carrie's Bar was very good too as was my meal. I had very prompt attention to "fix" the television in my room. - Very comfortable with nice public areas. Rooms big and warm with good bathrooms. Staff attentive and efficient. Couldn't fault it.

This was much appreciated as had only just become aware hotel located on busy road/roundabout. Twin room was spacious and clean and for a 3* rating, well appointed.
