Central for town. Friendly staff. excellent and pleasant staff.staff friendly locationgood room basic but clean bed comfy good value for money. nice room, loveley view, modern tv available. The food. Immaculate room, comfy beds and good breakfast!. cheap, comfortable and great breakfast!!. Friendly and helpful staff member at reception. Beautiful view. Reasonable overnight price.Mark and Andy made the night when the entertainment was on, good laugh. Cheers gents. The Hotel Manager Mark was the Cheeriest man i've ever met in my entire life!. The position of the hotel was fantastic within easy walking distance of the town and lovely view from the top floor front rooms. The staff were also very helpful and welcoming. Convenient location. clean, cheap rooms. location of hotel. friendly staff. staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was good.Cleanliness. The breakfast. sightseeing. The location was good, walking distance to all shops, bars, and beach. The breakfast was enjoyable, the room was clean, and the staff friendly and helpful.nice clean room with nice facilities. the owner was down to earth. Friendliness of the staff. The only thing in favour of this hotel is it's proximity to the centre of Newquay. The entertainment for three nights. In a good location. location. yes stairs. breakfast was disorganised for me as i was on my own and there was a coach party in which filled the dining room. Two flights of very steep stairs. This was difficult for us and means that we would probably not make this hotel our first choice in future, though we were satisfied otherwise. Some of the bathrooms were a little small depending on which room you had. Not sufficient car parking. Breakfast was good, however, too late for me, I need breakfast from 7am not 8.30am, I need to get to work on time!!. very hard pillows. room was rather cold as windows were not tight enough. tv reception a bit fuzzy, bathroom quite small and there was a random single bed in our room. Thin walls, hard bed. The room was small and noisy. Too mnay drunk people slamming doors and shouting right through the night. A problem with some sort of pump or fan which kept coming on and shaking the room. no hot water in the shower. The bedroom was rather small for three people, the toilet/shower room was so small it was very hard to shower without flooding the floor. The pillows were thin and uncomfortable, so bring your own! Also no shampoo provided!. the car park facilities were poor for a hotel of its size which meant being woken up to move your car every morning. There was no restaurant - the reason I had selected it. The room was too small. The lock looked as if it had been forced. There was no handle on the inside of the sliding door to the shower/toilet areas. The handbasin was in the bedroom a long way away from the toilet - and down a narrow space between a bed and the chest of drawers. The walls are about as thin as cardboard - I had two men next to me who snored all night long and on one occasion were asleep with the TV left on loudly. It is like a rabbit warren - far too many stairs, and impossible to close bedroom doors quietly due to poor fitting. Room far too small, and the ensuite was rediculously small, service waspoor in the dinning room. Double glassing not sufficient to keep theloud traffic noise out.Was extremely noisey! On most days my allocated table was not fully laid for breakfast and was usually short of cutlery, cups etc. Room in poor condition - 10" tv with no remote. The service.
