He offers more than expected eg . cheese bikkies and drinks on arrival, offered to make sandwiches lunch next day and in addition to usual B and B fare will change menu to suit the guest, will even print info to you from has computer! B and B in quiet rural area only 6 miles from city. ... wat mensen zeggen » Vince even offered to pick us up at anytime should we get stuck and need a lift. - The lodge was immaculate and Vincent was very helpfull , the facilities were close enough to the city but not too close . The local resteraunt was excellent and really relaxing with a few bars around , breakfast in the morning had everything anyone would need , couldn't fault the place .... Suuuuperb

  The Manager on duty Sunday 22nd September. We arrived late, very tired and stressed by Edinburgh's lack of road signs, and after the kitchen was closed. Very quickly the manager said he would make us some sandwiches which we said we come down and pick up once we settled in our room. A small service, perhaps, but one that he clearly sought no reward, and which will ensure that we will - The staff was amazing. They were friendly and very helpful. The food was fantastic, filling and very affordable. The full breakfast was very good and was enough to keep you going through the day. The bus stops right outside the doors, which is extremely convenient. It's just a short ride into Edinburgh or Rosslyn Chapel. The bar was very inviting and had a great selection of beer, wine, cider and hard alcohol.

  The staff/owners were quite cordial and accommodating. The room was quite adequate, clean and above the usual B&B. I quite like that a tea pot was available in the room. Breakfast was a wonderful assortment. I had looked at other bookings, am so delighted to have chosen this one. - Everything was clean, comfortable and of a good standard. The owner is maybe a little eccentric, but this only added to the overall enjoyment.

  The hotel was nice and clean, the staff was friendly. Very well priced and well worth it. This was a great location for us as we were visiting friends in Bonnyrigg, so only about a 1 mile away. Plenty of parking for those with a vehicle. Tea and instant coffee in the room was nice - no phones in the room. Took advantage of the breakfasts (and o... wat mensen zeggen » ne dinner) at the restaurant on site - Table Table. Although away from all the action in Edinburgh, it was easy enough to catch a bus to take in all t - IT was very clean and quiet, the front desk staff were very nice and very helpful to us regarding getting in to sight see in Edinburgh. They suggested that we take the bus due to parking, but we didn't and it was ok. We found parking without a problem. We would definitely recommend it if you are not interested in paying high rates in the actual city but want a nice, clean hotel and have a car to get around.

  We absolutely loved Jude, who was very friendly and helpful in every single way. Beautiful eating area, lovely big Scottish breakfast, everything was in a very relaxed way, there was nothing that we couldn't ask Jude about or to help with.   Fantastic building, great room, comfy bed and it was lovely and quiet. A very relaxing building with a lovely atmosphere of tranquility. - Room and hotel were great location and setting good. Staff friendly helped booking restaurant in town very willing to oblige.
