  The Adria hotel is amazing. The decor was beautiful, the room was a great size and the bed was very comfortable. Everything is immaculate. Free soft drinks in the mini bar. All the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. You get proper service in the Adria. Room on 5th floor was also very bright and quiet. This is an intimate hotel, away from the madding crowds and located in a lovely neighborhood which doesn't seem overrun ... wat mensen zeggen » by tourists even though it is short walk from the V&A and Hyde Park etc. - staffs are well trained and exellent service. specially concierge is very helpful and kind, also reception is sincere and friendly. Toward Knightsbrigde, we can walk through Wolton street which is interesting.

  Kensington is a very good part of London to stay for a short break. There are of couple of lovely restaurants in the neighborhood, but you have to take a closer look at the menu before you enter, because prices are very different and high prices do not guarantee a good meal. Restaurants we visited: Sporano's is a very good restaurant if you like Italian food besides pizza and - We benefitted from a very special deal due to refurbishment. The price was superb for the location and the room on the 7th floor was so quiet. It was ideal for exploring this end of London. The seating areas in the foyer were wonderfully relaxing, especially on a wet morning. It was so near the Metro and yet, so peaceful. Plenty of shops and cafes, nearby. Spotlessly clean, lovely bed and cosy and warm.
