  very friendly staff showed us around .entrance was clean and smart really nice decor ,kitchen area is very modern and well equipped .the atmosphere is up with the best hostels ive stayed in all over europe and i would definitley stay here again when in london. still a bit of work to finish off but overall good value,good location ,very clean and ... wat mensen zeggen » genuine ,cool people thank you Sam and the team here.from tony and tim , newquay.

  It's my first time to stay in a hostel and it is even better than I expected. The frontdesk is very very friendly and helpful. Room (4 bed) is clean/quiet and has a wonderful window view of the St. Pancras Hotel across street. And, LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! It's pretty much in Central London and a 2 or 3 min walk to King Cross St. Pancras stat... wat mensen zeggen » ion, a hub for several lines, which can take you to almost all main attractions with minimum change. I would definitely choose this hotel again for - Superb location, modern facilities and they happily give you hot water to refill your bottle in the cafe without extra charge. I stayed in a 6-bed female dormitory and everything worked out quite well. Yes, the window facing the street is a bit noisy, but it didn't bother me. Remember to bring your own padlock if you want to use the locker. And cheppals :-)

  A really superb location, decent but cheap breakfast, really clean and appears well managed. I would definitely recommend it to others if you are not hoping for anything too fancy. Bed was already made which is unusual for a hostel. - Liked everything! Took earplugs in anticipation of the chimes of St. Pauls, didn't hear a thing!

  Unforgettable fabulous stay in London Thanks to letsbookhotel.com, I have been fortunate enough to stay at The Hotel Strand Continental for an affordable price, during my recent trip to London. The Hotel Strand Continental is located at a privileged point, in London’s west end; 2 steps far from King’s College London, very near from The River Thame... wat mensen zeggen » s through Waterloo Bridge, in addition to some of the most important sightseeing attractions such as the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, London Eye, Sa - Location! Right next to Somerset House. 5 min walk to Temple underground tube. No frills but no unexpected nasty bits. Tea/coffee in room, towels provided, there was clean bedding. Breakfast was good, cereal, toast, juice and tea and coffee as much as you'd like. There was stairs but we didn't mind. We arrived at 10am and our room had already been cleaned so we were told to go straight in. Lovely. Would stay here again
