  The staff was very pleasant and very helpful. The premises, including the shared bathroom, were spotlessly clean, and the breakfast choice quite extensive. Breakfast itself was of high quality. Internet was fast. The location is also pretty good, about 10-15 minute walk from the Castle and Princes Street (and the airport bus line).   Spacious and comfortable- I think staff struggle when it is busy to be available but it does have a rather welcoming informality about the place. Don't worry about no breakfast- lots of cafe's nearby- I HIGHLY recommend "the Square" cafe round the corner- superb at very reasonable prices and lovely staff!   The breakfast was just amazing!!! Was better than any B&B that we have stayed at, very impressed. For what we payed, room was very basic and slightly on the small side. I still view this as a positive as we are realists and expect to pay for what we got, the room was slightly small BUT so was the price for this accomodation. It suited us perfectly for two nights and could - The hotel was in a great area with plenty of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance, the hotel was easily reached on foot from both the railway and bus station. The rooms were clean, comfortable had a safe at no extra cost and opening windows The breakfast in the morning was excellent with so much choice!!!

  I highly recommend Caravel Guest House. It’s located in the centre of the New Town close to the railway station and the shopping area. The rooms are cozy and the toilets are very clean. Besides, there is Wi-Fi available. Breakfast is abundant and there is something for every taste. During my stay, the hosts Jaeed and Imane were very warm and frien... wat mensen zeggen » dly. They made me feel at home. Thank you guys!!! I really enjoyed staying at your hostel. I hope to come back in the future. Fabiola - It's a lovely place with amazingly friendly staff! For the price you pbly won't find a more original B&B. It is nicely situated, though closer to New Town so that you have to walk a bit to get to Old Town. The breakfast is nice if you take the cooked breakfast. We'll stay there again if we go back to Edinburgh.
