I liked having my own front door key and access to the code for the middle door which meant I could come and go without disturbing anyone. The single room was small but big enough and well appointed. The en-suite shower was lovely and the coffee and Kit Kat very welcome after a day in town, Breakfast was really good. Fruit juice, fruit salad, cereals and a full fry up if wished. Loved the individual haggis!! The hotel is well situated only 5 mins from the town centre and railway station and i. alle beoordelingen »
I had emailed to say that I would arrive late. I was welcomed with warmth but without fuss, the room was small but very cleverly designed & spotless, inc ensuite. Breakfast was ample with a wide choice (Im a veggie) and a bottomless cup. I saw the lounge but did not use it as I was so late arrivng, I would definitely stay again & recommend it, esp for city trip as it is so convenient.
Great location, only 5 minutes from city centre. Very comfortable room where everything including the shower room seemed brand new, so spotlessly clean. Tea/coffee with chocolate biscuits. Great breakfast in the morning. I particularly liked the mini haggis. Nice touch! Will definitely us 29 again and recommend to my friends.
We visited on both ends of a trip up north. The owner is very friendly and knows the area very well. The room was nice, the location just across the foot bridge from the rail station. He also let us leave bags until later on the day we checked out.
Both rooms were great (3rd floor first time and 2nd floor second time).
Location is excellent, right next to the town centre, very reasonable price and room was comfortable.
I was competing in the marathon so had an early start on Sunday morning and the owner was very kind in getting up early to help me with breakfast. I would highly recommend to anyone paying a visit to Inverness.
Our hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean, clean, clean and very comfortable, in an excellent location, close to all of the Inverness sights. Our host made fantastic dining and sight-seeing recommendations. I'd highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again myself!.
Extremely helpful staff, very knowledgeable about the city. we were given very good advice on what to see & when to see it & also on where to eat. Very clean & more than sufficient for our needs. Very close to the downtown area & to the bus & train stations.
Everything. This is a lovely hotel with new, clean and beautifully designed rooms. The owner is exceptionally helpful and hospitable. The full breakfast is made to order. We returned to this place after having been further north because we liked it so much!.
Excellent Highland Hospitality. Excellent breakfast fair. Closeness to
City Centre. On main thoroughfare through City. Friendliness of owner
and family was much appreciated. Rooms small due to addition of en
suites, but perfectly adequate for our needs.
Loved staying at this quaint comfortable place. We ran into a snag and called to be late and the inn keepers were so accommodating. Great location makes the city easily accessible by foot. The tea in the room and the comfy beds set a crazy day right.
the central location and easy access to shops and restaurants
easy access to interesting visits of interest
such helpful information from esp. tourist office and also people of Inverness generally
Vera MacRae and Elma Stuart.
The manager, Don, and his son Donny were very friendly and helpful. The B&B is just a 10 minute walk over the pedestrian bridge from the Inverness train station. Given the attractive single room price, it is an very good choice!.
Everything. I have stayed at 29 twice now, and will certainly stay there again when the opportunity arises. I was very comfortable. I really appreciated the quiet, calm atmosphere, and the great welcome. Thank you very much.
The Hotel was nice and very need and clean. The breakfast was full english breakfast, and didn´t cost extra if you wantet more. The Hotel is ling just near by the river and City Center, and is very nice and very cheap.
Danny was helpful
and friendly, had very good suggestions on where to dine, and how to get to places. He was very concerned with the comfort of my elderly aunt. Had excellent breakfasts.

This was a friendly B&B which was very comfortable and I was surprised at how big the single room was. The owner was also very helpful with directions and trip recommendations.
The cleanest room ever, decent free breakfast, very friendly and helpfull staff giving good tips for things to see, right in the middle of the city close to restaurants/pubs/shops.
Manager was very friendly and a very nice man. Offered to help with our heavy bags on an extremely hot day. Very nice breakfast, good, clean room and convenient to town centre.
Friendly helpful staff very polite, clean, excellent food, close to city centre and even closer to the club across the street really enjoyed my stay their.
Friendliness and helpfulness of the owner and staff. Cleanliness of the whole place.
Very comfortable room. Excellent offer for breakfast. Very good value.
No 29 is an excellent B&B in all respects. If only more establishments lived up to their on line descriptions. I would recommend without reservation.
Very genial host, who made a booking for us at an excellent restaurant and suggested a very pleasant walk before dinner. The location is excellent.
Good central location in Inverness making it easy to walk into town in the evening. Owner friendly and helpful. New en suite showers / bathrooms.

It was very clean and I particularly liked the Tunnock's Snowball - a nice, quirky added touch!.
We stayed twice on both ends of a trip to Orkney, and Denny was an
excellent host on both ends.

Breakfast excellent.
Location very convenient.
Good breakfast and friendly owner. Very close to town centre in a peaceful area.
Everything. Ideal location, nice welcome, lovely rooms, excellet breakfast...
I have no negative comments about this hotel.
Nothing.
There's nothing not to like about 29.
Denny will insist he help you with the bags, but the 3rd floor can challenge tired, end of the day legs. The 2nd floor room we had on the second visit was much easier.
nothing.
Only minus point is the on street parking, but bear in mind, this is a
city centre B&B , that apart, no complaints at all.
Public toilets at Holm Mills....dreadful!.
Nothing.
absolutely nothing.
Liked everything.
Nothing - it was just what I was looking for.
Nothing at all to dislike. I am sure recent guests who have nominated reservations about 29 have been rather petty at best and wholly unfair in the majority of cases.
Not possible to park outside as resident only parking and very congested. However, found free overnight parking near the cathedral within easy walking distance.
the hot water in the shower was a bit difficult to regulate but other wise all was great.
It was very interesting having to turn on a switch for the shower to work with hot water.
Nothing at all!.
Nothing. I think the warnings on the website about no designated free parking may put some people off, and be overly pessimistic - we parked outside and there was free parking nearby.
Nothing to dislikie.
No beans or tomatoes with breakfast ( I never mentioned this to No 29 ).
Nothing everything was spot on.
Need blackout curtains.
Noisy street fro front room and bar, which at the time we were there, had a fight occur; not pleasant.
The single bed.
All was good, no complaints at all.
Nothing.
