  From the moment we walked into the building to check in the staff were very friendly and helpfull. We were informed that there was a party with a band at the pub ajoining the Inn. We were told that we had a quiet room and that the band were to finish at 11.30pm but if it did disturb us just to tell them and they would ask the band to lower the lev... wat mensen zeggen » el. This was very reasuring but as promised the room was quiet. All over the week end the staff at recepition and in the breakfast room could not be m - On arrival we were greeted with a very friendly member of staff who explained all the facilities of the hotel and made us feel welcome. Only stayed one night to visit friends after having spent the weekend at a wedding in North Wales. Would certainly stay again if we were in the area.

  Great historic location, Port Sunlight itself, and within half an hour of both Chester and Liverpool. The inn is a lovely old building with many original features, the welcome couldn't have been better, even though we arrived during the early evening when the restaurant was busy. Large room, comfortable bed, free Wi-Fi (yes you do to have register... wat mensen zeggen » ed with The Cloud but I was already as many other outlets use them, and even if you need to register that is a quick and easy process). We only ate br - Spacious and interesting accomodation (a former temperance hostel !) great location right in the centre of Port Sunlight Village, which was the purpose of our trip (an architectural settlement by philanthropic soap manufacturer). Very friendly, helpful and informative staff. Food good value for money, good wine offers, (could text for voucher code for £5 discount) typical pub grub - no frills! Folk club on a Wednesday, free but you will need to buy a raffle ticket. Mix of amateurs and some firs
