  Leo made us feel welcome by chatting to us and taking us around the manor house. The rooms are well appointed and despite the hot weather, we were kept cool with a breeze through the room. The breakfast was great and freshly cooked. There is much history in the manor house, which made the stay interesting. In retrospect, we should have spent two ... wat mensen zeggen » nights there. - Beautiful building, beautiful location, wonderful warm welcome with a pot of tea and coffee in front of the open fire, Leo was really friendly, felt very relaxed and welcome, breakfast was perfect..with freshly baked bread and all cooked to perfection. Book it you won't be disappointed.

  Kort bij Newark antique fair. goede ontvangst en lieve eigenaars. Mooi pand en kamer. - This is probably the most unusual interior I shall ever experience in a B&B. Packed full of artefacts including fashion mannequins from the owners' previous business it is far more interesting to browse than most museums I have visited. The B&B basics ... wat mensen zeggen » are all there too - spacious rooms, good bathroom, comfortable bed and excellent breakfast plus fascinating conversations. - A very warm welcome from Carol on the evening I checked in and a lovely breakfast in the morning cooked by Roger, her husband. I was even given a lift to my party venue the next morning. The house was very quirky and artistically decorated with mannequins at the front door, and very vibrant colours.
