  Lovely old pub in a picturesque village setting serving real ales in a relaxed pleasant environment. They were also able to add a camp bed to the double room after we changed the composition of our party. Top Marks. Breakfast was very good and was made from local produce. Also has an old crown on display, possibly belonging to Ethelred the Unrea... wat mensen zeggen » dy & is palso proud of it's WW2 association with Easy Company. (Band of Brothers). - Landlord was extremely friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast really good. Okay, The Crown isn't a 4/5 Star hotel, but it doesn't pretend to be - it is a really good, value for money, country pub.
