  I liked everything. The guesthouse has fantastic location, fabulous inner garden with beautiful design. Very safe environment. Staff members are excellent people, you cannot expect better treatment. They are such a nice people, open, warm, friendly, interesting, very helpful. Moreover, guesthouse support - I chose this guesthouse because of the beautiful flowers in the photos and the fact that it is connected to a women's cooperative. I couldn't have made a better choice. I was in Mardin to consider the possibility of pursuing dissertation research related to the local linguistic situation. The owners and staff of the guesthouse were so incredibly helpful in connecting me to people, that I can't imagine the difference had I not stayed there. He was friendly, funny, and a font of information in various languages. I usually avoid guided tours like the plague, but I would suggest considering theirs.   I like the feeling of beeing in a private house where everything is cared for by the owner or caretaker in a personal way. As a single traveler it's an advantage to stay in a Konak. Limited rooms, and the guests staying like to speak to other guests, which creates a good atmosphere. Asude Konak is this kind of place. The owner Jale Hanim is a friendly lady and the two young ma - The owners were very gracious hosts. The food they prepared was the most memorable meal I had the entire trip! Jale's cooking was incredible! The hummus that she made was the best! I can't stop raving about the food! The Konak was definitely interesting. It was nice to stay in a traditional house and actually get to interact with the owners. I really felt like we were welcomed as guests of the family and not just transient guests.

The hotel is located next to biggest mall I have seen in Turkey - the Piazza. It is easy to commute by local bus between the hotel and Otogar. Number of local restaura - We liked everything about this hotel , it is one of the few hotels I have ever stayed in , in over 40 years of travelling where every small detail about our stay was so well done .We were upgraded to a lovely suite , the place was spotless and well appointed the breakfast was outstanding as were other meals we had there .The staff always greeted us with a smile and the General Manager Mr Toprak made a point of asking us if he could help us in any way we just had to contact him.
