  The staff was very friendly and nice, even though there was a small mix up regarding whether we were staying in Lucerne or Zurich. When we arrived, they came quickly to meet us at the apartment. The person who let us into the apartment carried our luggage up three flights and spent time giving us information about the trains, etc. The apartment is... wat mensen zeggen » in a great location, and it gives you the feel of really living in Zurich. I would recommend getting a Sim Card for your i-phone when you arrive, so - This was a great apartment for a visit to Zurich with friends. The location is perfect. The apartment is a very short walk away to main train station and the Bahnhofstrasse, and is located in the middle of the Niederdorf area. Tons of bars and restaurants nearby. The apartment was very clean (I would expect nothing less in Switzerland!) and the staff was on time in meeting us to give us the key. There is no front desk and no on-site parking, but the staff is accessible via phone and there

  Heel vriendelijk, mooie, fijne kamer - Our stay at G Hotel Goldenes was great. We originally booked only one night, however when we arrived in our bedroom, we decided to cancel our next hotel to stay in G Hotel Goldenes.   We are a mature couple who stayed at the Hotel Hirschen for three nights in early October 2013. We took the train from Bern to Zurich. Zurich station, like Bern and Luzern, is quite nice with street level platforms (or escalators), a Tourist Information Office, and lots of underground shopping. We asked for a room off the square because Niederdorfstrasse can be noisy -- lots of res - The situation of the hotel, it was right in the old town and the variety of restaurants outstanding. Because it was in busy area due to shops and restaurants thought it was going to be noisy at night but that wasn't the case. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast choice very good. Easy walking distance to main station and the Zurich Lake. Ferries also very accessible. Very enjoyable stay.

Excellent service, nice breakfast and small bar downstairs for evening drinks / coffee overlooking the river. Rooms were small but perfectly formed and very clean. Very good location. - The room was much funkier and new than I expected.   Excellently located sparkling clean city hotel with great rooftop views - very near to the station for those arriving by rail with heavy luggage. 24 hour desk and free tea at the front counter which given the expense of Zurich is a boon on arrival! Free internet wireless in whole building and use of desktop in lobby area. Really nice large breakfast - serve yourself and af - The hotel is a short walk from the station, the staff are very kind and friendly and there is a nice atmosphere. Although Hotel Marta is functional, plain and simple, everything is of high quality (beds, pristine bathrooms etc.). In the lobby there is a hotel computer and free tea available around the clock. The breakfast buffet does not have a wide choice but again the food is of high quality, plentiful and perfectly substantial and everything spotlessly clean. Highly recommended.

  A couple of days before arrival I contacted the hotel by email for information, which I received by return email. On check-in date, I arrived early, 9h00 am, but was checked-in immediately. The employee provided some folders of the city, and was very helpful. The room was perfect, with a nice view to the polybahn. Every day the room was cleaned a... wat mensen zeggen » nd clean towels were provided. On check-out day I could leave my luggage in storage at the hotel, as I checked out very early. THANK YOU hotel staff. - The closeness to the railwaystation and the old town is nr 1. Rooms ok but decoration a bit worn. Bathroom very clean. Breakfast (at extra cost) quite adequate. Nice and comfy Weinstube on the ground floor (closed on Sundays) with typical food.
