  It was a nice experience staying in a Hotel which was previously a prison. We liked the atmosphere and the design. It was really clean. We enjoyed the breakfast there.   When we arrived we were welcomed by a charming and helpful receptionist. Although we were early we could book in the room straight away. The room was very clean , the beds comfortable - one of it was bunk, but I knew about it in advance so no problem there. The breakfast buffet was varied and it was plenty there, good coffee. Good Wi-Fi reception.... wat mensen zeggen » Would be nice if they offered free coffee and tea for guest as so many other hostels in Stockholm do, specially since there are no facilities to make - Location is very good, not so far from city center. If you have a travel card location is not a problem at all. It takes about half a hour to get to Gamla stan by walk and about 10 min to nearest subway station. Breakfast isgood. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff is very friendly. Luggage room is very useful, especially if you have late flight. In few words, it's good value for money.

  Really good location. Not in the city centre but in a trendier area that you might not other wise see. Lovely walk to get to old stockholm. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Comfy bed and good facilities. Quiet location. - It was a nice and cosy apartment. Nice neighbourhood by the water.

  We loved the feel of this house. The stone spiral stairs, the bare wood floors and the vaulted ceilings gives it so much charm. Although it has old world charm, it is incredibly cosy and warm. What really made a huge difference to us was that when we arrived, at 7am, to drop off our bags we were informed that we could actually check in then if we ... wat mensen zeggen » wanted so no need to wait till 3pm, the normal check in time; we were tired and hungry so we slept for a while, had showers and then had a fantastic b - The location, on Sodermalm, a short walk uphill from the Zinkensdamm subway station, was excellent - very convenient, but also quiet. A wonderful base for our first visit to Stockholm. The room was spacious and comfortable, breakfast was good and the staff were helpful and friendly. We would be happy to return.

  I realy like that it was quiet and a friendly athmosphere. It was a lot of showers and wc so I never feel that I has to wait for this. It was emasing to see that it works so well to drive a hostel without staff/reception. Very clean bedrooms and no smoke from these ho use the entrencedoor for smokingarea. - I think it's fine for a weekend, altho... wat mensen zeggen » ugh there is no breakfast. But apart from that, I liked the fact that doors had code for security. I also liked the atmosphere, it felt like home.

  This hostel is great value for money for Stockholm and quite comfortable. Our end was a like a nice hotel, with the use of hostel facilities (ie cheap washing machine, kitchen, kids toys, guidebooks, info). The room was equipped almost like a hotel ie with hairdryer, phone. It was quite a large place with many groups of teenagers staying there. Buffet breakfast was available for a charge and had a - Walking distance to city centre/train station but there is a tube station close by as well as bus stops. Easy to find. Close to shops and restaurants. Quiet area, near park. Sufficient breakfast option. Room/bathroom (en suite) size is more than adequate and bed comfortable. Room looked new. Being there in the winter, the room was nice and warm. Many TV channels including programmes in English. Can even buy stamps at the hotel.
