  We found our stay at cinnamon grand very good. However following our arrival at cinnamon lodge in habarana (booking made through letsbookhotel.com), we were very disappointed to see that there was no gym even though the hotel was rated as 5 star by your website. As we expect a 5 star hotel to naturally have a gym and we placed alot of faith in letsbookhotel.com, we feel we have been ign - It was a real pleasure to stay in Cinnamon Grand Colombo at the end of our holidays in Sri Lanka. What struck us first is a very warm and professional welcome. I wish I could have that in Europe. The room was not very big as you could expect from an executive room yet spacious enough. It is still the best location even though there is a refurbished hotel at the other end of Galle face Green with nice rooms but not not the same quality or class by a million miles. Make sure you are in the new wing as the old wing is now very tired although it was the best a few years back. I think it is being refurbished and then it will be the better wing as the rooms are huge.

  The room was incredible. Like stepping abck in time. It was full of beautiful old furniture yet the design was modern - a perfect fusion. I have stayed in many 5* boutique hotels and this one is by far the best room. Must be seen to be believed.   One of the cleanest hotels where I have stayed in Sri Lanka. Since it was the first I was surprised at the bathroom but they are almost like that everywhere in Sri Lanka: small and not modern. The shower is in one corner and there is nothing separating it from the rest of the bathroom and ergo the water will spread. They give you a glass of fresh juice in the morning together with the sri Lank - this was my second time I stayed at the saffron. first time i came for my business and i had a good time in my first stay. that is why i decided to come second time with my wife to stay in the saffron. we had a very good time and my wife was very happy. we got a nice room with antique furniture. and hotel staff arranged city tour. it was really nice. we enjoyed in the beach and could see nice places. food also really nice. we could arranged a trip to kandy with a hotel car. everything was good.

  This hotel is beautiful and an oasis of calm in the city. The rooms are huge - almost like an apartment and tastefully furnished. The bed is very comfortable and big.
