  This is a fantastic place to stay. I agree with a previous review, it is more like a quality bed & breakfast as it is a large house that has been exceptionally well restored but retaining lots of the original features and character. The lady that met us at the reception was very helpful and the whole hotel was immacuatly clean. Excellent break... wat mensen zeggen » fast for only 5 Euro's, we were a group of four friends travelling on motorcycles and this hotel offers free reletivly secure off road parking. - Such a beautiful place to stay... the hotel and rooms where stunning. the couple running the hotel were really friendly and helpful. really comfortable beds, an amazing bathroom and just like staying in a grand property. A bit hard to find as there arent many street signs, which is not the fault of the hotel, but make sure you print a good map and directions first!

  We had just finished the Camino de Santiago and wanted some luxury which we got here in bucketloads! Staff treated you like family, free aperitifs at night - organic from the garden Delicious! We took the bikes up to the lighthouse and had a great ride. We spent the afternoon treating ourselves, first the shower is something to behold! Fabulous location overlooking sandy beach with wonderful sunsets. Hosts that offer excellent service, for instance, I mentioned an allergy when booking and received an email back from the owners immediately assuring me they would accommodate my dietary needs. A kitchen where we were welcomed to help ourself to drinks and home made cake. Nothing was too much trouble.

  Lois is a tiny hotel at the other end of a rather busy pedestrian street with restaurants and bars. The rooms were very clean with white minimalistic decor. We had a small room, but the smart layout made it feel more spacious. The staff seemed to do pretty long shifts, but were super nice all the time and made us feel like home. The location is perfect placed between the port and the beach, and in the middle where the pubs, restaurants and cafes are located. It was a little too quiet while I was there since I was the only person having breakfast, but this will not be a problem for most. In short, I opted for this over the 4-star options a 20-minute walk away.
