  Stopped here the night before I started the Camino to Santiago. Great overnight stop. Good clean bedroom with very comfortable twin beds, great well equipped bathroom. Short walk to restaurants and bars. Bus station only a ten minute walk away. Reception staff didn't speak English but as I don't speak Spanish that seems fair and they were very hel... wat mensen zeggen » pful anyway. Would recommend as a great budget friendly overnight or two night stop. - Reasonable price, nice staff, very clean room with free wifi. I'll definitely use the same hostal when I get to Ponferrada again.

  Very nice hotel. Lovely rooms. It is situated in a pedestrian square in the old town. There is parking underground but it is not convenient to the hotel for transferring your luggage. Having a motorbike we were able to drive to the hotel door and unload and then park. - We arrived fairly late and left quite early the next morning to start walki... wat mensen zeggen » ng the Camino, but we had a lovely stay here. Everything was perfect and the staff were great. Very central and very reasonable. I would stay here again!

  I restarted the Camino de Santiago in Ponferrada. I stayed at this hotel on the night before the walk. Needed a good sleep .Had a meal at the hotel which was tasty and prepared me for the camino. Desmond - Stayed while walking the camino. Great location in old Ponferrada. Easy to find. Small room but comfortable and clean, no complaints

  The people who operate this hotel are fantastic and super sweet. Even though my Spanish was not very good, they were great at getting me what I wanted. The breakfast is the best on the Camino so far. - Good location to visit the city, especially Templar Castle and surrounding attractions such as Las Medulas. Good restaurant. Very friendly and welcoming, even towards my bike (in fact through my whole trip to Spain every hotel/pension has been helpful with storing my bike).
