  The location of the hotel - I was travelling with a suitcase and the hotel is literally just around the corner from a metro stop. The staff were very helpful - very centrally located for main attractions. - Amazing location, friendly staff who provided any assistance required regarding directions etc. Basic but comfortable room.

  This is a great place to stay as it's in the centre of Madrid. Great for shopping, museums, eating and close to the gay area. There is a McDonalds right under the hotel and a Starbucks across the road, the windows in the hotel were extremely well insulated, you cannot hear the traffic (or hookers below) once the windows are closed. The (sunshine) rooms are tiny (I knew that when I booked) just enough - The decor is Pottery Barn/Restoration Hardware and has a very comfortable and hip feel. Our room was on the second floor and had double doors that opened to a false balcony that overlooked the busy street. We had two comfortable leather chairs and a coffee table. The beds were also large and comfy. White beadboard covered the walls and there were pegs to hang things.   Location was excellent, close to Mercado San Miguel (strongly recommend going there for food) and several tourist attractions like the Palacio Real and Plaza Mayor. Walking distance to Gran Via for shopping (aprox 10 mins). People at the lobby were very helpful and with a great attitude. - very good location and very clean. Staff were helpful.
