  Hostal Edreira was very clean. Our room was spacious but set up awkwardly. the bed was in front of the closet so you couldn't open the door easily. The staff was very friendly and nice although they weren't always easily available. It was a great location in easy walking distance of all the major sights in Madrid. The air conditioning worked ... wat mensen zeggen » great. - I stayed at this hostel for 2 nights and have to say I quite enjoyed my stay. The room was neat with AC and TV. The bathroom and toilet facilities were clean and tidy. The hostel was just next to the metro and was very convenient. Staff very friendly and helpful. Yes they do speak english. Good value for the price.

This is a very good hotel to stay both after a flight and before you leave.

Great price in an excellent location; it was very easy to find everything and the staff gave me a map and explained a bit about where I was.   Room was so clean, sheets fresh and crisp, so quiet, family run hostal, everyone including the parents pleasant and lovely. The two brothers do a marvelous job. Our train back to Barna was not til 530 so they kept our bags after we checked out at 9 am until about 4 when we started for the train.   This was our third visit to the Cervantes, so you can see we like it! The staff, Fabio and his assistant, are very friendly, and you are at once on first name terms. The rooms are very small, so don't take too much luggage! They are comfortable and clean, and some are very quiet. The ancient lift, recently inspected for safety, is more efficient than many in large hotels! Above, all the location is excell - The Cervantes hostel is very well situated, 10 minutes walk to the Atocha train station and 10 minutes walk to the Puerta del Sol. Staff and owner are very kind, smart people. Bed is very comfortable, claned rooms and bathrooms, which are inside the rooms.
