  Location is excellent. The apartments are modern, spacey and well equipped. Staff is very smart, friendly, helpful and responded to our needs in no time. Also staff is English speaking.   THis is a tiny facility with intelligent use of space in smaller quarters. The beds were quite good, the bathroom was Great. The front desk was very helpful in getting around and taking public transportation to needed areas. This is a facility above the grade of hostel and lower than a traditional hotel.   Wij kwamen om 12.00uur s middags en tegelijkertijd kwam een 'gezelschapsdame' met haar klant binnen. Wij zijn niet gebleven. - Good atention, staf was helpfull - Literally a one minute walk from Gran Via metro station. Lots of tapas restaurants nearby. Super cheap.

  Hostal Mendoza is located in perfect place: next to the central street of Madrid - Gran Via and Puerta del Sol, where you can take the tourist- bus and travel all over the city. Our double-room on the second flour was always clean, the furniture and bathroom (with all the accessories) were new, we had even flat TV-set and the balcony. There was no... wat mensen zeggen » breakfast, but it was not a problem for us, because there are a lot of cafes and restaurants next to Mendoza.Staff on reception was very kind and pos - The location is superb (if a little hard to find down a side street). Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to do everything to make our stay perfect. Was concerned a "hostal" might not be up to scratch but it was like any other 3 star accommodation. Room was large with fairly new ensuite and very comfy beds. There was nothing we didn't like and would definitely stay again.

  We are a family with 2 small kids. We got the appartment A on the first floor. The appartment had everything we needed, and for the price we paid it was perfect. Also the location is very good, very central. You can authorise the company that administers the Appartments to get the money from your credit card, this way you don´t need to go to their... wat mensen zeggen » office first, you just get a code with some instructions and can pick up the keys at any time. - The location is perfect, very close to city center. Apartments was clean and contain all that you may meet e.g. shampoo toilet paper etc. Service was very good, when you arrive you just calling contact person and pick up keys from mail box, after check out money will be charged from you credit card an that's it.

  It was my first experience to stay in a hostel. And I was not disappointed. The room windows were faced inside that is why it was quietly. The room was small, but it was very clean. The room was cleaned every day. Beds were very wide like double. The mattress and pillow were quite comfortable, linen was clean and of good quality. There was free W... wat mensen zeggen » i-Fi in the room. It was some slowly, but quite acceptable. The insulation is not good, but it is a disease practically of all 3 & 4 stars hotels. - Everything. Holiday inn Express without the frills yet still a personal touch. Right downtown. 1 block or so from Gran Via subway (metro station stop. Safe. 24 hr desk. 3 levels of security; building, hotel, then your room. Maid rearranged room for us after first night to better suit our needs(2 twins beds to a pseudo-double) and tidied our sloppy shoes. Ultra clean. Like spotless. Pressed sheets. I found this property with a price filter but will make a bee line there next time.
