  Staff, Location and Cleanliness. Location was just the best in Madrid I believe. It is not in the midle of the touristic spot so you dont see 40+ years old tourists waddling around in their "comfortable" attire when you go outside of you hotel, instead, you are in the middle of the trendiest area. You can take express bus from the airport (24h) for only 5EUR and get off in Plaza Cibeles which is 5 minutes walking from the hotel. Y - We had a wonderful time in this beautifully designed and extremely well located hotel. Staff were very friendly, elegant and welcoming. Attention to detail is for sure one of the key principles of this hotel, starting with the welcome (someone opening the door for you, we got offered as well a glass of Champagne to welcome us, water was provided for free in the room, ...).   Everything was perfect! Staff were extremely friendly, location is great! Despite the fact that people wrote that breakfast was served in a cafe near the hostel, in reality, I got it at the hostel near the reception desk. It is also wrong written that Wi-Fi is available in public areas only, cause it was available everywhere in this hostel. I woul... wat mensen zeggen » d highly recommend to stay in this place during your vacation in Madrid (of course, if you are unpretentious and do not look for something to complain - The staff were really friendly, the couple that run the hostal were really sweet and really helpful. They even arranged a shuttle to the airport for us for 9 Euro each. Breakfast was included (but I never made it), the room was cute, clean, and comfortable.

  I stayed here for 2 nights and I would definitely recommend it. Good price. Perfect location, only 1 mins to walk from Sol, with 3 metro lines and 1 train line to the airport. Very friendly staff. Old building but was clean and comfortable. Provided 1 shower towel and 1 piece of soap.
