Toen we om een andere kamer vroegen was dat geen probleem, en kregen we een grotere, met mooi uitzicht, zonder bij te hoeven betalen.   we had a room at the 3rd floor, with a big window and a small balcony looking at calle atocha, it was really nice. the location in excellent. short walking distance to all places of interest. the stuff was helpful and all spoke English in a good level, which is not obvious in Spain. many channels in the TV. there's a room with a washing machine a... wat mensen zeggen » nd a dryer, and a common kitchen. excellent option for budget travelers in the middle of town,cost us 60 euros per night. - We loved staying in this hostal. The staff is very friendly and helful and rooms look like normal hotel rooms. The accomadations were really great in terms of price/quality. Everything was clean and we had this room facing the street with a little balcony, just great. The location is the best you can have, being 5 minutes way from Plaza Mayor or Puerta del Sol, Mercado de San Miguel, Gran Via, etc. Definetly the place to stay whenever we go to madrid.

Great price in an excellent location; it was very easy to find everything and the staff gave me a map and explained a bit about where I was.
