De locatie van het hotel is uitstekend, tussen de oude stad en Barcelona (met het strand op loopafstand). De kamers zijn sober, maar netjes. Geen geluidsoverlast. Geen ervaringen met het restaurant en het ontbijt opgedaan. - Het personeel was heel aardig en zeer hulpzaam. Kamer was heel schoon.

Location was very good for visiting the Old Gothic neighborhood, La
Rambla, and Barcelonetta, and only a 5 minute walk to Metro stop to
access farther sights. The room was small (typical for Spain), but with
a high ceiling it didn't feel too claustrophobic. Good value with
all the basics, plus a few extra amenities, like balcony and hair dryer.
A/c worked well, which was crucial in mid-July.

perfect ervaren, ik kreeg in eerste instantie een kamer met hele kleine raampje en ben terug gegaan en deden niet moeilijk en kreeg een kamer met ramen en mooi uitzicht. Goed geholpen en ze waren correct.Zou absoluut weer teruggaan. - Vonden dit een net, goedgelegen, goed prijs/kwaliteits verhouding hotel.

This place is amazing. Our room was very clean and functional. It is close to the downtown. Also extremely convenient that La Isla Hostal is a couple of blocks from Estacio Nord (bus station) and Estacio de França (railway station). Friendly and helpful stuff. In my opinion, it is an ideal choice for budget-minded travelers.

We were happily surprised. It is a low profile hotel. No grand entrance, but home like. The room was spacious, clean, newly styled, comfortable with a wonderful balcony view of the city. The hotel is about a block away from a beautiful archway and walkway, not covered on the bus tours. The neigherhood is safe and there is life going on up until 2:00 a.m., but it does not disturb the guests. We loved it. This hotel can accomodate those with who walk with a cane/walker. You get what you pay for and this was very inexpensive. All I needed was a bed and an en suite with shower as I was attending a conference and eating out at night. I got exactly what I paid for. I could have stayed at the renaissance which was 9 times the price but why bother as I never use the facilities

Location of the hotel is excellent. Close to a metro station and in the middle of Las Ramblas and El Borne. In winter, el borne is a better place to be close rather than since la rambla. The staff has made really nice improvements and facilities in the hotel, that's nice. But some of the stuff like towels and sheets are really too old.

Een prima kamer in het centrum, schoon en goed verzorgd. - Het App. ligt heel central met metro,bus en taxi voor de deur, en een kleine supermarkt. Het is maar 5min. lopen naar Plein Catalunya en 8min. naar de Ramblas ideaal. De eigenaar geeft je ook hele goeie tips voor de bezienswaardigheden van Barcelona, wij gaan er zeker naar terug.
