  Hotel gebruikt voor laatste nacht ivm vroege vlucht. Mooi nieuw hotel,mooie kamers en badkamer met accesoires. Bij incheck werd gevraagd of wevd airportshuttle gebruik wilden maken en werd meteen opgezocht bijwelke terminal we moesten zijn. 'S Ochtends om 04.30 uur werd ons nogkoffie aangeboden voor we naar het vliegveld werden gebracht. (40 min.Me... wat mensen zeggen » t metro vanaf centrum) - vlakbij luchthaven (max 10 minuten rijden) maar absoluut geen geluidsoverlast, gratis shuttledienst naar de luchthaven. Receptiepersoneel zeer attent door al bij het inchecken te vrage of je met de shuttle mee wilt en of je wakker gebeld wilt worden.

  All we had to do was call the hotel from the airport and they gave clear directions where to catch the shuttle to the hotel. The shuttle runs every hour on the hour. The room we stayed in was a bit small but large enough for two to enjoy comfortably. We appreciated having a king size bed that was fairly comfortable. The bathroom was spacious - Room had tv (with English channels), quality wifi, hotel interior and exterior so nice. After checking in we thought about staying in our room rather than going outside. It was that good. Shuttle service to and from Airport was very welcome. Shuttle came within minutes of calling. Dropped us at the airport for our early morning flight as well.   A taxi from the area of the Prado took us to this airport area hotel, the Axor Feria, a sister to its more elegant sister hotel right next door. Taxi cost was 23.35 euro (we had two carryons and two back packs). Be aware it’s a long drive, more so with heavy commute traffic so allow time. We stayed there our 1st night in Madrid and booked it again for our last 2 nights in Madrid. Our son stayed our late one night and it's about a 20 euro taxi ride from downtown Madrid to the hotel.

  Last summer I stayed for the first time at Axor Barajas both for business (The University of Arizona, USA) and pleasure (Family European vacation) I can't say enough of the quality for the price.....it is a bargain. We used it from the airport after dropping off our rental car and then the next morning back to the airport for our flight.
