The guest house is only 15 minutes away from the main entrance of the Addo Elephant National Park. You can choose from a variety of activities in the surrounding area, including cycling, hiking and horse riding. Gorah Farm is a working cattle farm with an abundance of wildlife on the property. A free private parking is also possible on site.

Het personeel was vriendelijk. De accomodatie is zeer ruim, maar gedateerd. Zeer geschikt voor grote families. Goede locatie voor het bezoeken van het Addo olifantenpark. Enorme ruimte voor weinig geld. Midden in de natuur. Goede bedden en badkamers. Een huis voor 15 personen met zn drieen in the middle of nowhere maakt het wel wat spookey. Keuken en servies was niet goed schoon. De schoonmaakster begon op de dag van vertrek al om 8.00 uur AM met werken toen wij nog aan het ontbijt zaten. De weg naar het guesthouse is zeer slecht, niet geasfalteerd met vele kuilen voor 6,5 km lang.

Travelling information

- Take the N2 from Port Elizabeth towards Grahamstown. - At the Nanaga turn-off, keep straight on the N10 towards Cradock/Paterson. - When you get to the town of Paterson, turn left onto the R342 towards the Addo Elephant National Park. - Continue on this road for about 4 km. - Turn left at the sign for Gorah/Thorny Croft. - Follow the gravel road keeping straight and passing two farms on either side. - Just before reaching the top gate, turn left following the road down to the house.
