  It was very quiet and relaxing comfortable bed beautiful gardens and outdoor area. You would never know you were so close to the airport. Food was well cooked and served nothing was too much trouble and we were welcome to stay until time for our late flight. The transport from/to the airport was so hassle free. The location is surprisingly rural, lots of open space around the hotel, and yet only a 10 minute ride to the airport. The gardens and landscaping of the hotel are beautiful and attract many native birds, great for the avid birdwatcher. The food was excellent.

  We booked one night here before a domestic flight and it turned out to be one of the nicest places we booked in South Africa. Every single interaction with the owners and personnel was warm and respectful. The personnel was extremely friendly and helpful. Upon arrival our room was pre-heated (very hospitable!), we had a nice chat with the owners, ... wat mensen zeggen » luggage was taken care of, ... Breakfast was very good. We would recommend staying here after a flight or before a flight or even when visiting Jo'bur - Extremely welcoming and well organised. We had a late arrival and left very early. Pam organised a car to pick us at the airport and to bring us back there on the following day. The room was nice, very clean. Excellent way to spend the night when you have a connection at the OR Tambo airport. Far better than the hotels on the airport premises. Very friendly staff. We were pleased overall, thanks Pam.

She described their rebuilding of the entertainment area after an electical fire two months ago and it will undoubtedly be an added attraction when completed in about 2 mos time. Food was plentiful and delicious. I would definitely stay there again. - The staff and the owners were so lovely to deal with. Free internet, free airport pick up and drop off, free shuttle to areas locally (shopping center etc) We ate at the Guest House and like other reviewers - we thought the food was exceptional! We needed to be close to the airport so the location was perfect. The owners couldn't be more gracious and helpful. Really enjoyed our stay

Although a bit run down the place was really clean, and Peter and Rosie couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome. Bathroom was superb ,very clean.Great place for a stopover and very secure.

  I loved this hotel. I stayed here primarily because of the reviews and I was not disappointed. Even before I got there, the staff was amazing - very responsive to emails, both clearly instructing me what to do when I arrived for airport pickup and also assisting me with putting together a program of sightseeing during my 18 hours on the ground. Airport pickup was just as des - The Staff were the best from the drivers, office staff cleaners and the kitchen staff. They became like family and I was sorry to have to say goodbye. The food - especially breakfasts were delicious filling and nutritious. Actually have not a single complaint. So appreciative of the wifi connection too.
