Staff was excellent and provided a wonderful breakfast each morning. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable -- the entire house was comfortable and inviting. I stayed at Mountview for 6 nights and my experience was very positive. Joe sat down with me for 30 minutes on the first day and explained about the tours, local stores, safety and all other questions I had knowing that it was my first time in Cape Town. The hotel was kept clean at all times and I had no troubles by commuting to the hotel alone. This place is amazing, what a home!! Our room was perfect, I think I was called the beach suite? The proprietors are the sweetest couple and are so much fun to chat with.
