There are plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars nearby and around the main square. The tour desk is also ready to provide guidance. Guests can wrap-up the day with a relaxing massage. We got room 305, which was an interior room with two twins and a private bathroom. Since it was interior, it was likely quieter than other rooms. Towels and soap were provided, but not shampoo. There is a free computer terminal near the front desk with fast internet. Breakfast was included, and was good. It consisted of tea, coffee (cold and very strong), fresh papaya juice (blended for us when we got there), rolls, butter, and jam. The rooms were clean, there were some chairs in a common area.
alle beoordelingen » The staff of the hotel was very friendly and helpful. As soon as I made the reservation Edison wrote me an email, offering information and help to book tours and tickets. Thanks to him I could buy the student ticket to Machu Picchu. He also come to pick us up at the train station even though we didn´t ask for it. The hostel is very good located, the rooms are very confortable and clean. The breakfast is very good, with fresh organic papaya juice. I definitely recommend this hostel! Thanks Ediso. The hotel is just near the bus and train stations which was very comfortable considering that you need to wake up early if want to catch the 1st bus to MP at 5:30am. At 5:00 our breakfast was ready in kitchen so we even had a time quickly to have breakfast. I also left my backpack untill the late afternoon. The trains pass till around 23:00 and might be a bit noisy but it didn't disturb us at all. The drunken singing guys in the bar next to hotel were giving more discomforyt. Good internet, perfect location - one minute to the bus which goes to machu picchu. We paid by cash and it was even a little cheaper than on our booking. Breakfast could be better. They called it continental - break rolls and jam plus tea. Round a corner is a nice place serving big sandwiches. The staff very friendly!. The staff was helpful. They were at the train station to greet us and take us to the hotel. It was close to the bus station and train station which was a plus. The room was clean and practical. The beds were good. The floor could have been cleaned better. Nothing fancy. But it served our purpose. Was very close to the train station, lots of shopping stalls, restaurants, and the bus to Macchu Pichu. The photograph used in the Hotel ad is actually the room I stayed in. Staff is knowledgeable and keeps real time information regarding the train and movement to and from Machu Picchu. Excellent location. the rooms are a reasonable size and the bathrooms clean and spacious with a good hot water supply. the hotel staff were helpful and kept our bags for us while we visited the machu picchu site. The personnel was so friendly and helpful. They treated us as if we were friends and had so many useful tipps as well for Machu Picchu as for things to do in Aguas Calientes. Great service!. Very well located, great staff (Edson, the owner is so helpfull and kind. He gave us all the good tips, took us to buy our bus tickets, he is great!). Confortable bedroom and a god shower!. We enjoyed the location which was right in the middle of town. We could watch the town from our second story window...the train come in, the musicians playing, people coming and going. We were met at the train station. Staff made sure we left for Machu Picchu with everything we needed. Let us use wifi and wait until our train the next afternoon. We stay one night because we went to Machu Picchu at 5am... And was perfect. The hostal is near the buses to sanctuary and the room was clean and confortable. Awesome location and great shower. Location to the Bus Staff met us at train station Hot Showers Good Breakfast which started at 4:00 a.m. The location was perfect. It was a very, very short walk to catch the bus to Machupicchu. I only needed one night prior to going up to Machu Picchu the next morning and this place was just fine for that; nothing fancy but clean and cheap and good beds. I read reviews ahead and requested a room in the back and they complied so I got a good nights sleep. Owner has an internet business off the lobby but has a free internet for quests. Location was right near all the restaurants-go to Indio Feliz for great food and atmosphere. The place is what you might expect from a hostel with several rooms, very close to everything that this small town had to offer. Good that the staff meet as at the train station otherwise hostal is very hard to find. location. Ear plugs are suggested, as you can hear train tracks, a loud bar, and a barking dog. Everything was great!!. The breakfast was on the lean side...not much to eat. Could not think of anything that I did not like. at our request we were moved to an inside room to avoid the train noise (and this did diminish the noise a lot) but the music from the restaurant/bars across the road continued until about 2am. not so good breakfast.. No one spoke English and the visa machine didn't work. Breakfast. No negative things. Staff spoke very little English Beyond this the room was fairly priced and overall I'd stay again. The noise from the railroad track which is <10 feet from the building. The hostel is too close to the train. You will hear the train running all night long. Too much noise from the trains - the railroad is directly in the front of the hotel. Room a little shabby, but OK. too much light from the street and corridor lamp (in the room) breakfast could be better. You can feel train ehen passing but it was due to its great location. it was not very clean, but enough for one short. Breakfast was bare minimal with only a hard disc type roll, jam, butter and tea or coffee. Location was along the freight railroad tracks but no trains after 9pm. Room had no soap or glass. They only had narrow stairs to the rooms and the tile floors in the room along with the bathroom layout made for a bit of a mess in the way of wet and muddy. Prices in the city are outrageously inflated. Unlike in most places is Peru, many places in this city do not include tax in their prices, expect a 10% tax with some purchases (not for the hotel). simple breakfast but okay. Breakfast is poor and with slow service. Like all of Aguas Calientes, poor value. This was one of our most expensive rooms of the trip. It's just the basics, so don't expect much and you'll be just fine. It was really loud if your room is in front the train vibrates your room and if your in the back their is a nightclub so that keeps you up. It's value for money hostel. Don't expect a lot :). Some rooms didn't have windows. There was unpleasant smell in the toilet and also in the room (because window was missing between room and toilet). There were no hooks in the room and in the bathroom (nowhere to put your clothes and towels). Breakfast wasn't good. The bathrooms wer not fully stocked (there were no towels, toilet or tiolet paper) The rooms were mostly glass so there was little privacy even with the curtains closed. mind your step! the ground is not even!. Rooms without views and not very clean. Very very noisy and very stuffy room. noisy in day time.
