Don't believe the ba reviews. This place is lovely. All newly redecorated. Small rooms but for the amount of time you spend in them more than adequate. Comfy beds, lovely shower room. Complimentary shower gel and shampoo. 10 min walk from Anne Franks House. 15 minutes from Dam square. 10 mins from central station Would stay there again. And highly recommended.

Our kettle still had previous occupants tea bags in it and we did not have cups to make coffee or tea. It said on booking website that payment would be taken during our stay, however hotel took payment for one of our rooms from my credit card prior to arrival.
Linden hotel location is easily commutable to all the main attractions walking & there are shops nearby. Hotel has a high standard of cleanliness and has been well renovated.
Small room bath showers require shelf for soap when bathing but its a minor . Best to book well I advance & get a competitive price but all in all a good hotel.
Nice quiet location close to some great places for coffee and lunch; hotel is simple but perfectly tidy and comfortable and a welcome base for exploring the city from. Free wireless is simple to connect and very fast.

The staff were wonderful, very helpful. Would probably be great for a younger couple, since there were a number of steps to our room. But the staff were so nice to us, they carried our luggage for us up all the steps. The location was very good and easy to walk to restaurants and shops and good for sight seeing.
The elevator did not go to the level we were staying on. They did not offer kleenex tissues. The shower was very poorly designed..water went every where making it very hazardous for walking after bathing. A bit noisy at night from street noise.
we love the hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Close to the everywhere. 15 min walking distance to the dam square. It was great. If ı go back to Amsterdam Linden Hotel will be my address.

I liked the location. Beside one of the canals & close enough to the beautiful down town Amsterdam & all it's interesting sites but not to close to be noisey. Slept with the window open wide with no problems of noise.
No fridge, a little expensive for small rooms but still nice & clean & well kept.

It was clean and the staff were very helpful. The only difficulty for me was that the triple room was up a steep flight of stairs. However the manager was very accommodating and we were given a different room.
There was nothing to dislike, it was friendly and welcoming. Jordan the are it is in is lovely and tucked away from the noise of the centre with good tram services near by.
We loved our stay at Linden! The hotel is small, but very cozy. The room was quite small, but they all are in Amesterdam, and we felt the space was very well used. The decoration is very nice and charming, with nice details. Its fairly new and very clean. It has an elevator! Its a bit slow, but most of the small hotels in Amesterdam dont have elevator at all, and going up and down narrow stairs with suitcases must be very hard. So, this is an important detail to consider. The staff was friendly. The location is great also. Close to the center, but still in a very quiet area. We had a view over the canal and it was great. If you dont mind a small hotel, this is a very charming one.
The location is very good, very close to the city center but in a quiet neighborhood. The staff is friendly and they helped me with everything I asked for. The place is nice, comfortable bed and very clean. The price was worth.
Probably because in Netherlands are not used to the high temperatures, but that week was over 30°c and the room does not have a/c and the window does not open wide. As well, if you are a person that likes space, well... Even when they have comfortable rooms, they are quite small but anyway for me was not such a big issue.
The Linden is a quiet, clean and comfortable place to stay outside of the hustle and bustle of the core of Amsterdam. The owner is very accommodating, the rooms and beds are comfy. I would stay again.
Issues with the wifi; the elevator and stairs make it a bit tough to get to the upper floors.

Our 3 x bed room was on the 6th floor in the attic space. The temperature in Amsterdam was in the high 20's and our bedroom was very hot and didn't have any air conditioning
Quaint property right on the canal, easy walking distance to sites.
Not sure the lift worked and a bit noisy at times.

This is an adorable hotel along the canal. It has a great little coffee shop directly across the street and many restaurants around in the Jordan neighborhood. The place was clean and the staff was very helpful and welcoming.
i have been to amsterdam on many occasions and this hotel is the best yet i have stayed in very clean and comfortable, with very helpfull staff, and in a very relaxing area

The hotel was lovely, all very modern and clean. Fresh bedding when we came back to our hotel, with friendly and helpful staff at all times!! Absolutely loved it and definitely had thee best room in the hotel! Room 44 was a brilliant choice and if we ever visit Amsterdam again I will 100% stay in your hotel and will request room 44!
Close enough to the centre but far enough to not be disturbed. Excellent restaurant across the road. Good value for money however the room was small.

No breakfast available, lobby tiny and not good for relaxing in. Minimalist decor, bathroom sink difficult to use because of shelf above it, no tissues, no washcloths. Hallway in front of my door blocked with bags of linens each morning. Very basic accommodations for too much money. Paid the same in Amsterdam the same week for fabulous B&B.
The hotel was to a very high standard,(very clean and spacious) just 5 minuets from the heart of amsterdam center. Staff were helpful & friendly.

Really clean and modern, the beds were really comfortable. Our room looked over the canal which was lovely to wake up to. The staff were nice, and cleaned our room everyday. Hotel is situated in a really pretty and quiet part of the city.
About a 20 minute walk from dam square and it was a little bit noisy of a nighttime with people coming up and down the stairs.
