Only a day back home we're already planning a trip back to Riad La Caleche! The wonderful staff at the Riad went out of their way to make us feel at home and make sure we had an excellent time in Marrakech!! They gave us advices and arranged the tours for us. The staff were fantastic and very helpful the location of the Riad was
not where we originally thought from the website. But the staff were
more than happy for us to change to another Riad they ran which was
right near the square and central. As Riad La Caleche was not what you
expected and was down some dark back streets not good for girls
traveling on there own it did'nt feel the safest. Although we
could'nt fault the newer Riad called Fantasia which was near all the
action and much more cent

I have stayed in a few Riads in Morocco but for value for money, amazing service, beyond what you will get elsewhere.....thanks John- Pierre and Hisham, you will not do better.

Jean Pierre (the french owner) and Hisham (the local guy who works for him) looked after us so well when we stayed for them for 5 nights. They gave us advice to make sure we werent totally ripped off by taxi drivers and vendors in the souks ;). Hisham made us more (complementary) Mint teas than we can could count, The rooms were lovely and typically morroccan styled. The best bit though, was the chill out area one the ground floor, perfect for escaping marrakech(which you will need to do). Th

The riad is beautiful, decorated with a lot of attention to detail, it is very clean and the hosts are wonderful. We felt like we were guests in Bruno's house and family (that includes cat , dog, squirrels, fish and bird :) ). The riad is located in the medina, and the main square is 5-10 min of walking (if you don't get lost). And the breakfast was great (be prepared for a lot of sweet things).
The pool is a nice way to cool off and relax, besides the air conditioned room.
