  My mother and I travelled for the first time to Marrakech and stayed at the lovely Riad. It was run by Julian, a lovely young Parisian man whom met us at 1.30 am (our flight had been delayed over an hour) and just let us check in directly with the response we can sort everything in the morning. Julien, the young manager is a perfect host, he and his team are always on hand if you need help. Beside French, he speaks English and Spanish, even some arabic. I think this is why they do not seem to be so helpful as other riads because it's difficult to converse when you don't speak each other's language.   We arrived into Marrakech having flown out very very early from London and were promptly greeted at the airport (as pre-planned) by a really friendly driver in a modern luxurious people carrier. We were promptly taken to the Medina where we were greeted in a square near the Riad by the young manager,Yassin, who walked us towards the Riad itself gi... wat mensen zeggen » ving us directions, tips and lots of useful advise along the way. From that point onwards, Yassin was instrumental in ensuring that our stay was abso - Yousef and the ladies who work there are absolutely lovely. They really helped to make our stay. It is such good value for money - a large room for four nights - 100 euros or 84 pounds and then 2.50 city tax a night each.- total 120 euros. Delicious breakfast each morning- juice, yoghurt, coffee and a selection of local breads/pastries to try. We liked the terrace - great views. Only five rooms - so you get to know other guests.
