On my arrival I realised my credit card had broken, Michael (the owner) took me on his motorbike to his bank to try sort my problem. This place is exactly what you need in this chaotic city. It is cool, peaceful and a beautiful place to relax. The courtyard has lovely orange and lime trees and the whole building is decorated in colourful tiles and carved wood. My daughter and I found the staff so helpful, even getting up at 4.45 am to give us an early morning call before our balloon trip. riads and other larger hotels in the "Hivernage" and
"Palmeraie" areas. Our conclusion is that Riad Alwachma
probably offers one of the best value for money in Marrakech and it has

We stayed 6 days in the nice Riad El Youssoufin and had a wounderful
time. The lovely restored Riad is located in the center of the medina
from where you can quickly reach all important places by foot. Julien,
the young manager is a perfect host, he and his team are always on hand
if you need help. Beside French, he speaks English and Spanish, even
some arabic. For example, excursions can be booked directly through him,
