Great blend of traditional and modern - felt a bit like being in a Conrad novel! Helpful staff parked our car for us, too.

Great location across a heritage Malay settlement. Walking distance to Jonker Walk and historic city. Great breakfast, nice deco. This is my repeated stay and I will come again.

Enjoyed the free historical tour by the hotel. Nice spacious and comfortable bed. Very clean toilet, bath tub get filled up very quickly wit high pressured taps. enjoyed our stay very much!

The hospitality was very good. Little details; how our beds were made in evening with orchids on the pillows. Love the room, the bathroom, the bed... Very cosy, clean, we felt at ease and at home (away from home)

Slow internet connection. Food is overpriced based on the quality and the presentation of the food i.e. warm food on a cold greasy plate

Overall the hotel was excellent, especially the services, environment and the atmosphere of the hotel. Breakfast was good as well. Totally value for money! :) But it suits couples more than family with older children, though.

As a clean freak, there were some brown water stains around the corners in the bathroom that bothered me.

* Superlative service * Superb room * Awesome hot tub. These outweigh everything we didn't like.

* pool rather small and crowded * more suitable for couples rather than family with children * limited breakfast spread * could do with a bit more sound insulation. Noisy at night.

The hotel was decorated immaculately, the staff were really friendly

The breakfast seemed to be under staffed. We had to repeat our requests 2 or 3 times before finally having them carried out.

The Place is just nice, not crowded. I enjoyed the Gym. The staff were very helpful. The room I stayed were very comfortable with fully equipped of things you may need when on business trip. Wi-fi has good connection too. I would recommend this hotel for comfort stay.

This is an amazing hotel. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The rooms and all public spaces are airy and beautifully appointed. Great breakfast. This is one of my favorite hotels.

The free in-room WiFi is a bit slow, but it wasn't a big deal. It's also not exactly in the center of downtown Malacca (approx. 10-15 minute walk) , which isn't necessarily a bad thing. It's nice to be a little away from the hustle and bustle, but it's good to keep in mind if you want to be in the thick of things.

Nice and Lovely Hotel. Very friendly staff, especially the door bell staff and front desk. Unique 5 star hotel during time we arrived, front desk staff will asked us for a sit, and walk to us after check-in done. Aft the check in, the front desk staff and door bell guys will lead and carrying our bag to our room with a pot of traditional Chinese Tea Pot. Greet us with very traditional Chinese way, poring tea and invited us to drink before leaving. Touching action. Hotel were design under Baba Nyonya old fetish deco at their front, and a modern design in their room. The combination were very much perfect and not ever lost it unique presentation of the hotel.

Some distance from the hotel to the major attractive sign seeing such as Jonker Street, Mahkota and others .. but it still under walking distance. Price a bit too expensive.

It has parking that is easily accessed. The staff are attentive and efficient. It has a 'reading room' and tried to maintain the colonial peranakan charm. 3 kinds of little tidbits that are synonymous with locals. Easy access to key attraction spots; good eateries nearby.

The awful construction going on nearby. Carpark is open, has no covered walking paths to the hotel (hassle when it rained and you have to carry your bags from boot to hotel); and is not guarded. it is next to a hospital.

From arrival to departure this hotel was excellent! Couldn't fault the beautiful room, the delicious breakfast, or the friendly professional staff.

If there was anything........it was waiting for my husband to collect the car from the car park! The only time I wished valet parking was available! But that was him getting lost, not the hotel. But I did think it was something they might be able to offer just to add to the experience and already excellent service!

The GM and reception staff were excellent.We were given an impromptu tour and the staff were very proud for the Hotel.The logan tea served in the room in a traditional style was amazing and made every moment memorable.

No shuttle facility to the heart of Melaka town. Quite a fair distance to walk to the Red Square and Jonker Street with young children.

The environment was superb and it gave us a different feeling from staying in a normal modern hotel.

The breakfast spread was bad and the service was slow. My friend ommelette has egg shells in it and all the suppose to be hot dishes were cold. Very dissapointed with the breakfast!

The room was very comfortable.

The hotel has a very restricted land space. Once the building site opposite is complete, the small pool area will not get any sunlight at all.
