The lady owner was very friendly and gave us an introduction of local surroundings. The rooms we booked were large and beds are comfortable. The kitchen provided utensils we needed. living room was nice and cool, even there was no air condition. Bathroom was acceptable as long as we could manage our brushing and shower. The location of the guest house is superb, close to the tourist places, Jonker street, food stalls, and not a far distance to the local market where we found very cheap foods an.
alle beoordelingen » We had a lovely 2 night stay at Casa Blanca Guest House. The lady at reception is lovely - gave us a map of the city and told us where the main sites where and the best places to eat. Our double room had a nice big bathroom and the size of the room was great, with lots of storage for clothes. The free wifi was excellent and very fast. Guest house was situated less than a 5 minute walk from the quayside, jonkerstreet and the main town square. Very close to Chinatown and city center, well equiped common kitchen, good assistance in reception informing about recommended restarurants which we visited and were very satisied, very clean common space and big room with great wooden floor, highly recommended for this price if you need budget accommodation. Casa Blanca gh is a great deal in Melaka. The double ensuite room we had was basic, but comfortable and quite large with a nice shared balcony. The people who run the place are very relaxed and helpful. And you can't beat the location, only a couple minutes walk to the action in Melaka. Very convenience location and just a few steps to the famous Jonker walk. Clean accomodation with friendly & best hospitality that make you feeling like at home. Value for money and will highly recommend to my friends who are planning to Malacca. We had room with own toilet. Room was quite spacy and had huge balcony. Staff was friendly. You can wash your laundry for free, that was really nice. Location is good, near to Jonker Street and there's hawker center and restaurants near too. pretty cozy and warm guesthouse, make yourself at home. I love it so much. Close to all the historic spots. Very nice and warmhearted hostess explaining and recommending sites to explore and eat. Located at an excellent place near Jonker walk (in fact the city of Melaka is very small too). And ensuite .Tea,bread,marg,jam and full kitchen for all guest to use. The room was spacious, had a fan and airco. We had a private bathroom. it's very close to the city center. Location. 5 mins walk to the crowded jonker street but remain quiet in a local neighborhood. It was very close to all the main attractions in town. The wifi was fast and reliable. Nothing - just a few little things like the room and bathroom could have been given a fresh lick of paint. Apart from that we had a great stay. Bathroom was the only thing on dark side :) but its common in Malaysia. Our bathroom had a tub with a shower but no shower curtain, so water sprays all over the bathroom when you take a shower. I've seen this same set up in showers all over Asia, but honestly, how expensive is it to install a shower curtain?. Nothing to complaint with this budget accomodation. Toilet was not so comfortable. No. Ants in room. Lacked shower curtain everything got wet while bathing.small details that need fixing, window not closing properly,pieces of floor tiles missing in bedroom,no glass for use in bathroom to brush teeth,no hand towel. None all was good for just a short stay as ours. Can't hang around at the entrance area at night because can get lots of mosquitoes bites. Can't think of any thing I didn't like!. No breakfast available, but you could use the kitchen and there is free cold water available. Famous chicken and riceballs next to the bridge is worth a try for breakfast. breakfast is poor, basilar. -No cold drinking water/ice facilities available, had to buy bottles outside -Bed was a little stiff -walls could use a new coat of paint. Nothing. The wi-fi on 2nd floor is not good. All ok for budget accomodation. 1 toilet for each floor. When I was staying there, I really wanted to watch TV but the staffs sit on sofas so I didn't have a seat to watch the TV. nothing value for money. the siiting room is too hot. Mosquitoes everywhere!. nothing. the rooms smell bad. Staff wasn't really around, this was sometimes inconveniant. It's very noisy. No hairdryer in the whole guesthouse! Receptions are usually not available when you need to change a towel or ask for information. The lamp in the room is too bright for the night, however, you don't have other alternatives. If you turn it off, it's pitch dark. You get what you pay for, this is a budget guest house and there will be noisy families who are travelling on a budget and even with the door shut you could hear the noisy kids shouting and screaming in the other rooms and in the hall. The rooms and bathrooms were not as clean as I hoped, there were stains on the wall, mould on the ceiling and for 50 RM a night, you could not expect much to be frank.
