budget-friendly, very good location. walking distance to shops, restaurants etc., we arrived at 10am and they allowed us for an early check in. Also, you have your own bathroom. For 70RM, this guest house is really a value for money. would stay again in this hotel.
Fairly central location to all main attractions in KL. metro is a 10 minute walk (perhaps due to construction blocking pavements). Laundry service is highly recommended, cheap, extremely fast. The staff were helpful in giving information about area/attractions.alle beoordelingen »
Everything perfect me and my wife arrive 3 Am in night they still waiting for me..when we check in they welcome us with very good manners and receptionist mohsin is very good person he guide me on every step.room is good for 2 peoples.breakfast is well..
everything is perfect and very well settled..good wifi.good breakfast. and also very good hot shower :-) and staff is very well and helping.

This hotel is located in a very convenient location, in the "golden
triangle". Near transportation, shops and shopping centers. The
staff is always responsive and helps in the slightest need. In Malaysia
had already twice and the second time staying in this hotel.
We arrived in check mate early in the morning and they have been very nice to accept our early check in, the room was small but good with the air-cond. the position of the hotel is a bit hard to find it but in 15 minutes u can reach most of the places.

around to eat and buy groceries. Party street just around the corner.

After you figure out where the place is, the location is pretty good. Less than 5 min away from Bukit Bintang Station, Sungei Wang and about 10 min to Pavilion.

Lack of ventilation in whole building. Although aircon in room was good, the smell always lingered. Wifi didn't work very well in room (room 6). Taxi drivers aren't familiar with this street.

No problems,it's budget hotel so don't expect to much.

Breakfast was a joke but I guess you get what you pay for. Rooms were
really small but as we did not stay in the room that much it did not
matter. The ac was directed to the bed so we had to turn it off when
sleeping. It was not too clean but I've seen much worse in asia.
furnitures are old, blanket is not very clean. no TV channels, just a DVD.

A little rundown. Our room was on the first floor so there was quite a bit of noise when sleeping.

Unfortunately staff members seem coming from another planet: showing big problem in speaking and understanding english and unable to answer to any questions.
Toilet not working properly...stuck with human manures!.
Water pressure so low. Provide on 1 towel in the room of 2 pax. No provide of drinking water, soap. The room very small not worth to stay at.

the reality is terrible, sooo dirty.
There was no hot or even cold water in shower, no towels, no toilet paper, and there was really dirty, dirty walls and toilet, sheets.. We was really close take our bag and try to find better place spend this night even if it means to lose our money. Also it's really hard to find.

Dirty n damp rooms, no ventilation, dirty washrooms, unclean linen, noisy surroundings, no ambience, unaccomodating staff and no proper breakfast. The rooms also have no proper basic ammenities. The staff wer of no help.
The door to the room did not open fully because it hit the bed. Bed was hard and did not feel clean, bathroom was full of mould and dirty, balcony was a dumping ground for broken furniture. Room was full of mosquito's and possibly bedbugs. Would not recommend to anyone!!.
The hostel was so shabby and depressive that I left it 10 minutes after
entering my room. The bedsheets were grey if not dirty, as well as the
pillowcase, I didn't try the shower but the only thought of standing
there barefooted made me a bit crazy. I booked another hotel in the same
area and only 7us$ more expensive for 3 nights but it was a small
paradise in comparison with the Checkmate. Never stay there.
when it come to night time, the hotel environment make my friend & i felt not safe and scary. Room not clean. Bathroom is dirty.
Very dirty rooms, in website showed tv and many things. But in room only
bed. I stayed four days and they didn't clean and changed towel WiFi
was only at reception. In breakfast only bread with butter and coffee.
This guest house build by old building. Dirty bedsheet.. no towel in this room. Small room. No parking.. this guest house only suitable for traveller who think better from sleep in car.
the maintenance and the cleanliness was very poor, i was totally disappointed when we saw the room with terrible condition, and the bathroom was full of dirts, the room is too small and uncomfortable, the second day of my stay was no water in the washroom from morning until night.
