  the staff / owners are helpful and nice and can answer questions about nearby sights or about public transport - you can even check your ferry ticket there good value for money the rooms were clean the size of the room is small but for a short stay okay the shared bathrooms are cleaned every day you have to walk about 50 meters to the beach and a... wat mensen zeggen » bout 400 meters to the hard rock cafe and about 200 meters to the next bus station we have taken the bus to the national park (10 minutes) and walked - Excellent location, near the beach (30 meters), lots of services and water activities around. Very good value for many especially for bacpackers. Although the hostel was on a side street, you can reach Batu Ferringhi's main street in a 2 min walk. And if you don't feel like doing anything then you can also just go straight to the beach without the need to shovel your way through local merchants.
