  The location of the hotel was a huge plus. It was directly across the street from the jr Nikko train station, and a short walk from the Nikko Tobu station. For those without a car, you can catch a bus to the onsens/lake area, or to the temples (although walking to the temples from the hotel only took approximately 25-30 minutes). I enjoyed the breakfast which you had a ch - This hotel is the perfect place to stay if you are arriving and departing Nikko by rail - It is right across the road from the JR station, and only a 2-3 minute walk from the other station as well. We found this very convenient as it meant we didn't have to go far with our luggage, but it's good to be aware that it's about 2-2.5km from the main centre of Nikko and the world heritage sites, so it will be either a reasonable walk or a bus ride from the hotel to anywhere you want to go.   Lovely place, to relax - Awesome place! The lady that runs the place is very nice. Order dinner, you won't regret! Room is big and nice. The hotel is right next to a river, which makes your sleep very pleasant.There's an indoor hot bath which is very nice. If you have a lot of baggage we would propose to catch a taxi from the station to the hotel... wat mensen zeggen » it will cost you 710 yen and will save you wandering until you get there. Once you're in the hotel it is very easy to access the center and the stations. - The guesthouse is well located, clean inside and quite, the owner friendly and helpful and the hot spring bath was great, looking out on the forest with the sound of a rushing stream nearby.
