  A fabulous place to stay in Siena. We loved being out in the countryside although only 10 minutes by bus into the old city with bus every 15 minutes just opposite the Villa. Fabulous views of vineyards and olive trees. Our apartment was spotless and comfortable, perfect with little homely touches such as olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and peppe... wat mensen zeggen » r, coffee and tea. All set up for our 5 day stay. A lovely contrast to our stay in Rome and Florence. Our hosts Christina and Claudio were so helpful - We stayed in the Dependance apartment and it was immaculate. I have never stayed in an apartment so clean. Our 1-year-old was able to crawl around without concern for her being covered in dirt. Cooking staples were provided for you, coffee and tea were provided, ample linens for everyone, and the private garden was perfect for our 4-year-old to burn off her energy or have outdoor meals. The bus really does stop right outside the villa's door and the trip is easy to do with two children, strolle

  Everything! Nicola was an exceptionally friendly host, and his family were wonderful even though their English was not as good as his. The castello and grounds were beautiful and the views from the tower room were literally breathtaking. This was probably the single best stay my wife and I have had in our lives. And be sure not to turn down the chance to have a meal at neighboring Le Pietre Vive for the cha - Great host, beautiful and rustic surroundings. We had the apartment with the twin beds with full use of the courtyard, Apt 3 across from their reception area. Perfect accommodations, clean, quiet, and reasonable.
