  It is an experience to stay in a old building with a long history. With restoration to the rooms, it now boost a contrast of modern rooms with the historic stone building. Our room have these little windows which you can look out to the alleys and the quiet neighborhood. Parking was available right - We were very impressed with the luxurious state of the accommodation. Puki, the lady who met us there was very friendly and accommodating.   Hotel Centrale – very well set up hotel, nice room, good amenities (but no iron), lovely helpful staff members, and an excellent breakfast, BUT NO AIR CONDITIONING! Hotel management had decided “it was not needed” and had turned the whole system off. As a result, a hot stuffy room and uncomfortable night. Also, incredibly, in today’s world, WiFi that does n - We loved this little picturesque town, and the hotel made it a pleasure to have the day here before catching the scenic train to Switzerland. It is set in the old town,an easy walk from the train station,but it is a new building so all features are fresh and comfortable. Great bed and stylish bathroom with a pretty breakfast room. Close by is a simple local restaurant with very good food, and a few interesting shops. We enjoyed Tirano & recommend this hotel.

  We stayed one night at the Hotel Bernina as we took the train from Milan to Tirano (rather than the bus) and were catching the Bernina Express the next day. I would recommend this hotel to anyone taking this trip. There are also other restaurants nearby and the town is within walking distance. We als - On our way back to Italy (after spending a day in Switzerland on Glacier Express), we were looking for a night stay in Tirano to catch the early morning train to Milan. This hotel offered an excellent stay. The guy at reception was excellent. He took care of a booking mistake that we made and upgraded our room as well (can't thank him enough).   We thank Laura and Lucia for the excellent service and hospitilaty during our stay. The appartment was really big, towels, soap and bedlinnen were available. Garden to picknik. Old town and restaurants on walking distance (best side of Tirano). Very quiet (no traffic noise), private parking available. We were welcomed by Laura to the roomy apartment which was quiet & had lovely views of Tirano & the surrounding mountains. Laura kindly did our washing for us. It was handy to town & the Station.
