  Breakfast was excellent with both hot and cold options, worth the extra money. There was a free shuttle taking you direct to the metro station making travelling to Rome much easier and cheaper as it is situated approx 5 miles out. The food in the hotel restaurant was as good if not better than the meals we had in Rome centre and very reasonably priced. - i have been to this hotel a few times , so I know the staff . I left my bag with money and cards in the lounge ...and the next day it was there ....left undisturbed by the lady who cleaned the area ...brava signora ! al the staff are super friendly and helpful the evening meals are basic and when you arrive at breakfast the person there should anche piu accogliente ...even more welcoming !   A chauffeur service from the airport was a welcome additional service. The apartment was opened for us on arrival. This has not been the case at other apartments I have stayed at in Europe. Our host provided a helpful introduction to the apartment and the local neighbourhood. It is in a great location. It is an easy walk to metro stations and the ... wat mensen zeggen » sites of Ancient Rome. A washing machine was a welcome addition after travelling for a couple of weeks. We didn't need a clothes dryer, because the we - friendly welcome service (our plane arrived late, and we arrived at the apartment past midnight - no complaint, no extra charges). We broke a lamp, but it was no problem at all. "Viminale" is an excellent location (also friendly and helpful neighbors - not seedy at all, as somebody wrote). Many sights within a short walking distance (colloseo, foro Romano, etc.). Nearby Metro gets you quickly and cheaply (1.50 euro for age 12 and up) to Vatican city.

  Prima dienstverlening door de medewerkers. We kregen o.a. een goed en leuk restaurant aanbevolen en tips voor een opera. Toen we klaagden over de gehorige kamer boden ze ons meteen een andere kamer aan (zie onder). Verder is de ligging perfect, vlakbij metrostation Barberini en de Spaanse trappen.   Our stay at Hotel Opera Roma was perfect! The hotel has an excellentlocation (2 mins walk from Repulica metro Station and 5 mins fromTermini). The room was very clean with a very large bed and a bigbathroom. We were offered a minilaptop with free internet access, whichwas great!! The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Quick walk from Termini train station, on quiet street but close to everything in historic centre as well as shopping. Staff is courteous and friendly. Nice, clean rooms. Offer free use of mini-laptop and internet access. Free satellite TV. Offered a shuttle to Fiumicino which was inexpensive (14 euros/person), considering that the train to Fiunicino is 11 euros.
