The lounge was a wonderful place to watch the sun set over the ocean... although drinks buffet a bit pricey (good food though). The beach below was gorgeous.... you can hire lilos to lounge on as a bit difficult otherwise (pebble beach). -

We enjoyed our brief stay in this lovely hotel.It was comfortable,clean, well-appointed and most of all we enjoyed having our own private little terrace overlooking the beach, with marvellous rattan chaises longues to sit on. - Excelent staff, very helpful and friendly. They give you good advice on what to do, discounts for scooter renting and they even returned for us our scooter when we decided to leave in the first ferry. They also took us to the port by car.

This hotel is a small paradise. The hotel only has six rooms. Each of them are very private with each their own terrace. The best thing is the main terrace which has stunning views to the sea and stromboli in good weather. The hotel has no swimming pool so it is indeed very quiet.

Overall we had a nice 5 day's stay at the hotel. The Island is still pretty and unspoilt and there are some small rocky beaches. Positive is the friendly staff and serving a good breakfast. Also positive is the location with sea view and a large swimming pool area. -

I stay in hotels 200+ nights per year and Turkiscu is one of my favorite properties in the world. Lorenzo provides a perfect level of service and runs the hotel with great care. The breakfast is delicious and he makes it a point to ensure every guest has a great stay, without being invasive. The nearby Scalo beach is relaxing and unique, and Salina overall is a calming and memorable destination. I highly recommend Turkiscu.
