  When first finding the hotel we were amazed. It has a grand entryway into a gravel parking lot that was almost empty. The hotel/restaurant is stunning and very beautiful. The eager to please staff speak a little English, a bit more French, and we got by with a combo of English, Italian and French. Cernobbio has some excellent restaurants and lovely little lakeside village. Easy to walk everywhere within a few minutes and make sure you go for a day trip to Bellergio. A great vaue hotel, excellent quality, refurbished and very clean rooms with free WiFi, Free Sky T.V and everything you need for a perfect stay, including quality bedding/linen and towels.   I loved everything about the Hotel Centrale! The location was very convienient. The room was spacious and light and quiet (the bed was so comfortable the only thing that got me up was the promise of a fantastic breakfast and a day on glorious Lake Como!). The luxurious green and gold curtains, bedspread and upholstery made me feel like a Contess... wat mensen zeggen » a on a Grand Tour rather than a budget-conscious traveller, and I even had a partial lake view. The owners are warm and friendly and the sundrenched, - Loved the location. Very close to where the ferry docks. Easy access to all shopping and restaurants. Our room for three was pretty spacious. Giacomo, Marcello and Michael were very helpful in guiding us to restaurants and sites. The continental breakfast was awesome! It was a small, local hotel...just what we were looking for. Would definitely stay there again on our next trip!

Once you are at the reception you will see a lot of artistic work which make for a cozy atmosphere. This is also where you will have your breakfast. The room was nice with a balcony viewing the backyard of the hotel The bathroom comes with a shower which is really fantastic and spacious. The room was also spacious including air conditioning and a TV with various channels.

The staff are very friendly, extremely helpful and the whole property is very clean and well maintained. The rooms are basic but had everything we needed and was good value for money. It is very close to Sirmione and definitely recommended as long as you have your own vehicle for transport
